Blackhatters,

One of my sites has been de-indexed by G. I had the idea today to create lots of WP articles on a separate site with long tail keywords related to the main keyword, get them indexed, do SEO on them and rank them, etc. and then once they are ranking do a 301 re-direct to the de-indexed site. The hope is that instead of getting organic traffic from my main site/keyword....that I'll eventually get just as much traffic from lots of long tail keywords (from a totally separate, non-de-indexed site instead).

The question is.....do you think the articles will still rank as normal? Or do you think Google will NOT rank an article that is being re-directed to a de-indexed site?

Once you redirect your new site to the de-indexed one your new site will disappear from the search results. Then you'll have to hope that your old site is re-indexed.

Why not just start the new site, rank it, and keeping work on it? If your old site ever comes back, maybe then use a 301.

That is a good idea, but in my opinion it will only work in the short term, and you will get smacked again once Google does another major update.
