    I was looking at singlesnet, as they tend to be in every affiliate network around, and they pay well, like in around $4 per conversion. I was just wondering, how do they actually monetize the signups, because as far as I have seen;

    1)There have been complaints that all the profiles of hot girls there are fake
    2) People who signup up get tremendous amount of spam
    3) There have been people complaining that they get non-stop credit card charges after signing up there, and they don't cancel even after promising the user that the charges has been canceled
    4) Some user complained that they get emails from lovers asking for money as they have to move from Nigeria to the United States.

    Anyone here have a clearer idea how they monetize the leads at their backend?

    Seriously, the money is in the rebill, if they pay $4 for each member(doubtful with shaving and nonpayment of some accounts), if one in 5 signs up for service, and only pays for one month at $24.95 then they made there money back. If they rebill that card for 12 - 24 months... you do the math.

    I'm sure they make their money from reoccuring payments. I can say singlesnet is good to promote, and u can def get more than 4 if you are pushing heavy traffic to their offers. Just talk to your am. I actually made a killing off of singlesnet, although I was doing white hat ppc with them.

    You get a conversion without any CC signup required.. and $4 per conversion means that they have more in their backend than just spam. One lead doesn't worth $4.

    I guess it the perfect place for the Nigerian scams... People probably end up at a dating site after failed attempts and are probably feeling quite vulnerable, and quite gullible I would expect... Also if its a paid site, these 'asking for money messages' could have them suckered in!

    The easiest way to find out how any program operates is sign-up with a clean email and see what happens.
