I am setting up a singles and dating company right now, ideally setting up singles nights where I basically take over a bar or similar. I am wondering if anyone has any experience on this as I have a few questions.

On a side note, I am working with a guy to set up lingerie partys as well, so if you have any experience on either of these things please tune in.

I've known a few people who have had great success with these types of "Events" throughout different niches.

If there is a demand within your local area, or a lack of services, than I can see this being very profitable for you - especially if you think outside of the box!

I would suggest setting up some sort of central website for each event, where attendees can go to find out more information about your company, maybe even have a social networking aspect to it, where they can upload pictures they took, tag them, comment, etc... keep the vibe and social environment going even after the initial even is over.

Promote a contest at the event which requires some sort of "online" participation - get some traffic!

I have the leads and the traffic, in the one of the richest counties in Cali, but I need some more info on getting the events organized and getting people buying reservations. The social side of it I dont have experience with.

i have some connections with underworld promotions, they do club events all over the bay and many in sf. i think it would be easier to host an event at some of the venues they use. actually some of my friends throw parties every weekend with them and on of them is a co-owner. but i dont wanna make it sound like i know this business well, i'm gonna actually ask my buddy a few questions about it tho.

Alright, let me know man.
