Say you want to rank high for these two KWs:

pure lye
buy sodium hydroxide

(lye is sodium hydroxide)

Now what domain would be best:

www.purelye.com
www.buypurelyesodiumhydroxide.com
www.purelyesodiumhydroxide.com
www.puresodiumhydroxidelye.com (this one is assuming that as long as the KWs are there it doesn't matter in what order they are. this one has better syntax)

get the domain around the one you want to rank for more.

trying to mix the two into one long domain will just give you sub par results.

I would go with purelye.com because its looks best to the visitors. Think if you are searching google would you trust purelye.com or http://www.buypurelyesodiumhydroxide.com Plus purelye.com is easier to remember and easier to tell others about.

you may want to go with pure-lye.com as there is no confusion with the word 'purely'. the sequence could be 'purely-e' a well as 'pure-lye'.

if you were worried? you could get both and have 'purelye.com' parked and point to 'pure-lye.com'

you could also experiment with "best-buys-on.pure-lye.com" as it would look very eye catching in the results list, as well as containing words that are likely to be used in some searches.
