Simple Cloakfish question

Is it the same as someone selling a cblock for $350 per month ?

They are the same ones you can get with Tor only filtered for SEO use.

Tor will not offer them all because their directory servers and the client itself are not maintaining an accurate status.
Cloakfish uses methods in the background to get a precise list of available IPs sort, categorize and maintain it in (nearly) realtime.

And yes Cloakfish is shared, the 350$ / month offer here is an offer for private proxies (on one c block I think).

It is slower but spread around the world with city, region and country listing for each IP and offers a lot of dynamic IPs (DSL/cable) to choose from.
Also the IP anonymity through Cloakfish is the best anonymity you can currently receive on the Internet + it has the best performance at this level of anonymity.

So it's just a different thing than a private proxy, if it's the right instrument depends on your requirements.

yea, sounds like you found a way to be 100% secure from anything!

Hi there
.

This sounds like just what I could use.

Can I choose all U.S. proxies? All from a region of the country, like the West Coast?

I run a list of proxies through a script and each one is only is only used for a second (one click). Can I use them for something like this, or can that be arranged?

Thank you very much for providing the information you've provided here.

I have a question regarding this, justone.

Will you be able to see the ip that each of your clients chooses? Also is there anyway for someone to sniff out that someone is using cloakfish?

I'm just asking this out of curiosity, because in theory, if someone was to pay you by paypal (I see you have liberty reserve as a option now :) ), and they were using cloakfish for hacking purposes wouldn't the goverment be able to request logs from you to see which user was using which IP and at which time?

This is all just theoretical and for educational purposes of course :)

Hi Salt,
You can not differ cloakfish from tor and if you use a dynamic low speed IP it's likely they will not even find out it was a proxy until it's much too late.

I am not able to see what you do, or which specific IPs you are using + they are shared.
I can see the IPs you have active right now but that is a temporal table, the information is lost after 24 hours.

So there is no way someone would ask me about your activity as long as you don't tell them you were using cloakfish. And even if I were asked I could not help.

Of course it is a small impact on anonymity, the creator of Tor was concerned about that. But about 99,99% of the tor network are regular Tor users, as long as the majority stays like that the anonymity is not risked.
If half of them used Cloakfish we'd have a problem ;)

Hi.

I apologize about posting here. I know there is a Cloakfish forum (I'm sure that's what I read) and there was a link directed to that forum in reply to my question above. Can someone tell me how I can find it?

Also, sorry to ask this here but is there a general help forum for general questions? For the past few days I've had trouble with my login password (I must have been entering it in wrong, how?) and I clicked for a new one (the system assigns a temp one) and when I wanted to change it to one of my own I had a heck of a time figuring out how to do that.

I've also tried finding basic things out I'd like to ask but I couldn't find that sort of general help forum.

This is not a complaint in any way, I'm just not too good at using forums as I've not really used many, much before and it's difficult for me to figure out what's where and how to find things.

Thanks!

Actually there is a cloakfish thread in this forum :)

The cloakfish support forum is on cloakfish.com

When talking about password issues you mean your forum password I guess ?;)
In case you have problems with cloakfish just write me a PM or a mail or chat me on ICQ 346-637

Thanks. The part above with the link wasn't there when I was here before but it's there now. I clicked the link and replied to you in the other forum, okay?

I now know the other forum is Black Hat SEO so hopefully I can find that forum again.

The password issue I had was for this site/forum. I'm not a member of cloakfish yet (trying to be though, haha!).

Thanks for your helpful replies and I'll await your reply to my question/concern in the other forum.

Cheers mate!

You confuse me ;)
Do you mean the other thread or another forum ?

Yes, I think that's what I mean. Just above here is a url link that links to another forum. I saw it once and followed it. The next time, after entering my password in for this forum (?) several times, when I finally was able to log in the link above (and the reply that it's in) was not there. It was there the next time I logged in though.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the correct terminology for forums.

Do you know a decent proxy service where I can get constantly updated open U.S., high anonymous proxies? I usually have enough but the work to maintain them, checking, etc. is really time consuming.

Thanks again.

Well have you tried Cloakfish? ^^
More anonymity is hardly possible, a lot of US ips too, all on different c classes ;)

justone, this is what my whole posting here was about. I asked whether Cloakfish could be used for what I need. You replied in the other forum that it isn't set up at the time for what I need but something may be in the future.

I like how/what your service offers. Too bad it wouldn't work for my needs. Hopefully sometime, though.

Thanks for your reply.
