I have a wasps nests outside my window and they keep getting in. I've got 2 of them in my kitchen right now :-(

They seem to be extra aggressive now. I was in there earlier, having no clue they were even there just quietly stroking my cat and preparing to make some food when all of a sudden I see this massive buzzing fucker dive bombing towards my face.. :-/

I can't get rid of them :( They're unusually fast/aggressive and they're camping out 12 foot up on my light-shade.

I fear I'm doomed to die of starvation. :-( Farewell everyone!

I got your sos buddy. I'm on my way..... ETA not really sure, as once I make it to london from texas, I will then have to find your residence.. But rest assured, I will be there at some point in the future. You may pass before then, but I will make sure that your cat gets his inherited laptop. And I will seek revenge on those pesky wasps. :D

I've killed about 20 of them so far over the past couple of weeks. I think they've sent in Jason Stratam to take me out. I swear this wasp knows I'm there.. I just peaked through the door and it did a circling thing as if to say "I see you." :-/

I also can't see its buddy.. Perhaps stallone or something? Maybe jet li :-/ Not good either way! It's probably jet li hiding somewhere, waiting for me to come in to cook some french toast before it pounces out from the shadows. :(

I have printed this out on a 72" tall poster board and given it to my wife as a birthday present.

She always calls them bees and runs from them. Makes me want to slap her.

My god this is a nightmare.

I managed to kill the final wasp in the kitchen PLUS one more. Another one then flew past me my hallway into my bedroom. Got that one.

I then found another one in the living room on the floor that my cat was trying to get. Then after I killed that another flew at my head taking me by surprise.

I'm sweating.... Gulp.. Still no stings, but this is rather uncomfortable. I've barricaded myself and my cats into the living room now. It's like an episode of some zombie movie.

Looks like you need a bit of encouragement:

Sorry it was stronger then me :)

I once woke up in bedroom in summer, at the same time while some travelling bees decided to take it for their new hive...it was a surreal experience, but I got out unharmed (cannot say that about them).

If you can find the nest, buy some wasp spray and spray the shit out of the nest once it gets dark outside. Once they are dead, knock the nest down and throw it away. I've done this several times at my house and it works everytime. If you can't find the nest, you might be out of luck unless you hire a pro.

My understanding was that you should never try and kill as wasp, because when they die/close to death they release a pheromone which attracts nearby wasps to their cause.

However, if you are already in mid-battle I suggest trying to get them to fly out of an open window, or for a more long term perspective, leaving pots of jam on the window sill near the nest and just catch as many as you can.
