sig sale section

i was charged yearly to have my sig sale
post in the sig sale section here renewed
30$ a year x 4 yrs - then it was closed by apricot
as i didnt re-new christmas 2017,

tonight i saw thread in the haf section looking for sig spots

i pointed should be in the sig/sale section thread was moved.
i also said on that post, sig sale threads are 30$ but wilhelmscream
said


so if my understanding of that is, sig buy/rent threads are free
what was i paying for from 2013/17 -- or did it go free after that?
just seeking to clarify
