I use Sick Submitter for social bookmarking and it's good, although you'll have to find your own site lists ('packets') because the preloaded ones are pretty bad.

I use the default template for bookmarking so my success rate isn't that great, but I put so many thousands of sites into it that I eventually found a list of around 1200 that are successful almost 100% of the time. :D

Few sites are higher than PR3 though, and most are 0 or N/A. So it's not a great list, but I'm still in the process of expanding it.

I bought a huge list of sites/templates on the Sick Submitter forum for $60. I'll give you that for free.

Would you mind sending me those?

To answer the OP's question. I pretty much agree with the guy above me. While I prefer Senuke, the price difference speaks for itself and Sick is pretty good when used properly

Sick Submitter - does an OK job for everything

but you gotta remember you need more advanced templates and from time to time you will buy packets - because scraping your own can be hit or miss ... so I guess what I am saying is the price will sneak up on you when you add the extra purchases into it.

So BMD maybe a better long term option with the new version out.

Web 2.0 well that is SeNuke territory - but there are a few choices here so depends on your budget - but the main thing is it needs to be a software constantly updated to keep up with the changes.

Sick is ok for what it is and for the price - but for the long term and taking this more seriously then you will be looking at other tools imo.

    cheers

Is there a pligg template ? Because I tried the built in one and it is not very good, the sucess rate is low and it is not giving direct url to the submission. Do you mind sending me if there is a pligg template, I will scrape sites test them and make packet with sites that are working and I will send you that.

Unfortunately, it doesn't contain a Pligg template which irritates me because that's the one thing I need.

It should be giving you a direct link to the submission, though. Occasionally I get links back to the username's history instead, but 95% of the time, the link should be directly to the bookmark. Are you using Sick Submitter 3 or 4? If you're using 4, bear in mind that it's still in the beta phase and is buggy.
