BHW is a great community - it's full of knowledgeable and generous people who are always willing to help others.
That's no more apparent than in the giveaway section. Every day there are people kind and generous enough to give things away for free.
They do so because they want to help the community, sometimes to give a helping hand to people who perhaps can't afford to take that first step.
And it takes them time, effort and often money to be so generous.
So when I see dozens, sometimes hundreds of people jumping in those threads, so quick to grab the freebie and avail themselves of someone's generosity, it really winds me up when so few of them can even be arsed to say thank you.
In the last few days I've seen at least 2 giveaways with over 100 people wanting the freebie and less than 10 of them giving thanks. One of them was almost at 200 replies and just 20 thanks.
It's selfish and it's wrong.
Seriously guys, if somebody is kind and generous enough to give you something for free and you post in their thread trying to grab it - show some gratitude!
