A lot of newbies on this forum always seem to think that the people who make money always just naturally made money and have the big advantage. That they can't do what is preached because they don't have the resources. I am going to show you how I build a little niche site and make money off of it without using any of my own resources. All I will be doing is using one or two directories and a couple services here on BHW to rank.

The Goal: Reach $30 A day In Adsense
    Time Frame: 30 days
    SEO Budget: $100
Content: 10 posts per day @300-400 words each

For the sake of results being screwed up I will not reveal the domain name. I can tell you however that it is in the beauty industry. I will from time to time show you some screenshots of rankings. The method I will be using to accomplish this is targeting tons of longtail keywords. Most of these keyword phrases show in Google Keyword planner to get approximately 250-750 searches a month.

As I said before I will only use some paid services on BHW to work this niche and 2 link directories. I will not reveal the exact date of my purchases for the services so that I can keep this niche masked. I will however reveal them to you after my purchase, and tell you what service I used.

I do however want to address content. I have done well over 10 posts a day with no problem writing on my own in the past. I will be paying for this content, but that is because I have the ability to do that. I believe each and every one of you newbies who want to build a site can easily write 3500 words of content per day of fluff. I don't want to hear any complaints that I have an advantage because I am buying this content. I did not set the bar at 40 posts a day. I made it realistic for a person that can naturally pump out what their own hands can type in a given day.

The goal I have set I believe is reasonable, and can be achieved. It is possible that it could take longer, but I am shooting for 30 days from today. If you want to start a niche and shoot for the same goals I suggest you get started today by finding a niche, registering a domain and installing WP. Let's get started!

The real goal here is to let people know it doesn't take tons of money to get started. That it is possible for anyone with a small amount of money and a desire to work, to make a little shy of $1k a month following 30 days.

Alright here we go everyone! I will be putting this together in sections.

    Part 1

    The Niche

The first thing I have done is register a domain for my niche. I wanted to target a general topic in the beauty category that was specific, but not too specific. Even though I am not working "lipstick" lets use this for all practical understanding. The niche for lipstick is very large, and you could go in a lot of directions with it. Think about all the colors, brands, types of lipstick for different ethnicities of women etc. You see how there are tons of directions to go with lipstick. Similarly in my niche I chose a subject matter that could go in thousands of directions, but is specific enough to a topic and not just beauty. I check ahead of time using the google search bar and look at what kinds of instant results Google gives me on the topic along with related results. Try not to focus simply on how much volume a keyword phrase gets, but rather how easy it is to rank for that phrase even if it only brings you 30 visits a month. With every niche my goal is to get 1 visitor per day per post. With a 1000 posts that's 1000 uniques per day. That is my worse case scenario.

    Domain Name

Since my goal is not to target any one keyword, for my domain I just registered a nice name that includes the main keyword of my niche. So if you were working the lipstick niche, you could register a name like, hottestlipstick.com or freshlipstick.com. While the main keyword is in the domain name, you are not focusing on any exact match phrase, simply the topic of lipstick. The idea is to promote your brand to Google with your SEO efforts rather than a single keyword phrase.

    Hosting and Wordpress

I won't go into setting up hosting since there are plenty of places you can read up on that already.

The next thing I do is setup my hosting, and install Wordpress through cpanel if you have that, or through another script in your hosting dashboard. Installing it with www or non www doesn't matter. Just get it installed on the root level of the domain.

Next thing is to install the All In One SEO Pack plugin. Under the configuration of All In One SEO set the Home title to Just your domain brand name (Example: hotlipstick.com would be Hot Lipstick). After that uncheck categories to noindex. Next go to Wordpress Permalink settings and set it to post name.

    WP Theme

Now you need to install a wordpress theme for your new site. I get asked what theme works the best. From my experience, a theme that is simple works well. From glancing at the newest themes in Wordpress, Morphic, Simple Theme and Sensilla look to be decent. There are tons of themes out there to choose from, just get something that is simple and clean. Make sure when you activate the theme, that the categories only shows excerpts.

    Adding Content

The first thing we will do is add one or two posts to start. Make sure to delete the hello world post. The title of your post should be very specific. If I were working the lipstick niche I would probably have a title such as, "Black lipstick that doesn't smear" which I came up with using the google search bar. I types in "lipstick that" and then Google gave me some instant results of things that people look for. You could easily research this topic and write up a 350-400 word post in about 30 mins or so. It's that simple. Don't overthink things. It is good to do keyword research to get an idea of some big keywords in your niche which you should put together, but 80% of your content should be easy to rank for stuff that is very specific.

What I have done so far today

So far today I have done all of the above. I added a custom logo just for an added touch. This is not a necessary thing. I put up one post, and I will wait for Google to start indexing my site. That will probably take a few days. In the meantime I will start on setting up my social profiles. More on that tomorrow.

Good luck mate on another excellent journey, I subscribed and will be following. However there is a question that is itching me, I don't know if it's too early to ask, but you said that you are aiming to publish like 1000 post, how are you going to handle the link building ?

Are you going to build to each post a bunch of links ? or are you willing to link to your root domain ? I mean I can't figure out how you would build links to each post with only a 100$ budget.
