Since the new gTLD's rolled out are kind of a very big deal regarding the domaining world, I think there should be a showcase/sales history thread on BHW. This roll-out has the potential of being the new '90s domain gold rush.

I got only one domain till now but I think it's a gem: money.gallery

What domains did you guys register?

It's not seen as a money gallery. It's seen as a money.tld, like money.com, money.net, money.co so on and so forth.

But, you could also look at it from the perspective of a domain that appeals to a money (banknote or coins) dealer/collector. There are even banknote/coins galleries (showcasing different coins and notes, for display or for sale). For those types of end-users this domain would be a gem.

If this won't pan out meh, I got it just as a whim/lottery ticket.

First thing I checked was porn.everything, obviously all taken, so I ended up registering a .bio.

    I got desktop.photography.

So much to speculate on with the hundreds of new TLDs. How is G going to react, rank, and sort through all of this? Will the average user be open to it?

Gotta watch the release dates for upcoming extensions. Be first, be fast.

I know I kicked myself in the arse for years. I came within an inch of dropping $1k on domains in the late 90's, but hesitated. Stupid!
