Hi guys, I have a small and yet intriguing question.
I am planning a launch for a site of mine and i am about to build about 200banners. No problem here. But....

My dilemma is should I also write my site URL on the banners or NOT?

    REASONS TO WRITE

    1. more exposure for my site as a brand.
    2. harder for competitors to just steal the banners if possible at all.
    2. i can :)

    REASONS NOT TO

    1. more text on the banners which means less room for THE MESSAGE ITSELF.

Could you guys say what your tactics are and what you recommend?

Thank you for your contribution and I wish you CRUSH IT in your own endeavors.

^---- that is exactly what you should do. EVERYTHING in internet marketing is about testing and measuring the levels of success/response.

    that's the whole point.
    you can't measure some stats.

by exposing the URL to more people i will get more direct traffic, but i can't determine how much of that direct traffic is due to the banners.
