EDIT: Definitely posted this in the wrong section. Sorry about that guys.

Anyways, needless to say, the stock market is sh*t now. About 8 months ago, a close family member of mine gave me $600 as I had a sudden urge to play around in the stock market (even though they advised me not to).

I set up an account, put the $600 into my account, but never actually ended up buying any stocks; I realized that you can't really do much with $600, and it's just too risky.

Now, I know a lot of people say to diversify your investments and such, but I'm thinking the stock market isn't somewhere where it's good to have money now.

Personally, would you take the money out and invest it in IM instead. The ROI in IM definitely seems better (if you know what you're doing of course).

    Any advice guys?

    nope.. dont buy any sites..
    start from scracth...
get an idea, start a site, promote it..
    600$ is more than enough...

actually, if you have a job, spend 9+50 = 59$ for a hosting and domain from that 600 bucks and dont touch the balance.

when you have free time, just promote the site using link building, twitter, facebook, social bookmarking etc. etc.

people will tell you to go to fivrr and buy gigs, but i suggest do it yourself!
because you will get experience by doing yourself.

within 1 year you will be able to make money from the site.

first think about a site, then think about how to monetize it..

Hm, I have enough knowledge to make sites on my own. I feel like I'd be wasting money on Flippa. Thanks for the suggestion anyways!

I already have a number of websites. I'm currently tracking my journey in a thread (you can check my threads, you'll see it). Basically my goal is to make have 100 sites earning between $2 - $5 a day. Initially, I was hoping to make $5-$10 a day per site, but I realized that the level of competition for the keywords I'm targeting is not high enough. I'm targeting keywords that have between 1000 and 3000 exact match searches, and a CPC of $1.00 or above.

I'm starting to reconsider why I even posted this thread, LOL. It seems like a no brainer. But then again, I'm still curious, cause I'm sure at least a few people here invest in the stock market, and I'd like to hear what they think.

    Thanks for your advice.

Exactly was about to say whatever Subject said, never buy site cos you've scope of ending up being unhappy.

Check out top rated services here and get few gigs on Fiverr.

Well, I would withdraw it, and put that money into your current site for services then.
