Should I start link building before site launch ?

Just register a domain, I want launch after 5 - 6 months, should I start link building now ?

If I start now, do I need a host service with a good landing page ?

Please suggest, thanks you all.

why would you start now. If google came to your site and nothing is there you have no value This would not help you with anything could end up hurting you IMO

Try to create High Authority Backlinks

I use "Under Construction" plugin as it gives a lot of options and beautiful prebuild landing pages

You can build links before the site launch, have done that on numerous BH sites.
Wouldn't do this on a WH site or a site aiming to be an authority.
If you are concerned then build a landing page and build links.
