    No way

Linkvana is bad news, many sites deindexed all the time by Google. Remember the big crackdown with bmr? they were also taken out as as well. you want lower less known networks.

May be you should look at this link before joining, Linkvana has transformed into a complete different model offering almost everything you might need to run a seo campaign(private network, social signals, fb likes, shares, forums, web2.0 etc)
    Code:
    http://beta2.linkvana.com/index.php?a=beta-program

    Keep in mind 2 things:

    1) Linkvana requires unique content, so after you pay $147 you will either need to write a ton of articles or pay to have it done.
    2) You run the risk of Linkvana's network becoming deindexed. Personally, that doesn't bother me because I believe that short term SEO is as important as Long term SEO. However, it is important to be aware of.

Other networks may be safer, but, for now, Linkvana will be effective.

Others have pointed out the biggest problems with Linkvana.

The main thing that you need to look for are services that are "low-key", or private networks. Linkvana is huge, has been targeted, and has seen major issues.

It sounds like they've repositioned themselves, but I'd look at smaller services that keep a tight wrap on their services.

Use some of the networks provided on BHW in the BST section. Marrrko has a great network, so does BobbyLove. I also like the Supernova BST which combines blog networks with some other links. I have yet to try the Shhh Network but it has rave reviews and it is on my list of networks to try next.

Generally I would say there are other networks out there, LinkVana is for the masses IMO, but did work quite well for people in the past.

The most important thing going forward is to leverage your links from many places and many networks if you choose to go that route.

If your site is that important to you, I'd stay away from household names altogether. Household names will have huge subscriber bases which will increase the likelihood of one bad apple spoiling the bunch.

If you really care that much about your site, do it manually. Buy high PR sites and build your own network.
