Im looking for new ways to generate traffic to my money site. Is it a good idea to blast emails directly to my money site, or will Gman beat the crap out of me.

Speaking from an experience, I'm a believer that the words blast and money site should never be used in the same sentence.

Its easy, no blasting of money site. You can manually build tier one links pointing to your money site. Then another tier pointing tier 1 and this tier 2 can be blasted as much as you want just don't over do it.

Depends if the list is legit or scraped. If scraped and you do lots of spam, then your hosting company may receive complaints.

On another note, if you place the domain link in the body text, sooner or later your emails will arrive in spam folder. I even tried with dot com and its the same.

The reality is Google defines popularity in many ways, two of which are IP spread and anchor text diversity. These two factors are extremely difficult to create using so called high quality links.

With links created from software or using some sort of aggressive service, it's easy to boost your IP spread which enhances your popularity image to Google's algorithm.

You don't want that your website will be flagged as a spammer.

I'm sure I can't be the first person to have thought of this... But if doing this could get you marked as a spammer, then would that suggest that 'Negative Email Campaigns' may work like Negative SEO is now?
Ensure the title and description is complete spam, insert a link to a competing website and spam away - Not that I would do this (the morals), but in theory...

Most would suggest not to do it "just in case" as nobody wants to risk their money sites.

Be careful about speaking in absolutes with Google because you never know which way they will rank sites tomorrow. If it was an absolutely bad thing to spam sites with crappy backlinks or email blasts, competitors would be turning their spam tools against all of their competitors to knock them off their rankings.

Instead of spamming your website, why don't you try to build good backlinks for your site.

If you only want traffic, then you should consider submitting your site to Yahoo answers, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, high pr do-follow blog comments and Youtube. These type of backlinks will surely gives your site tons of traffic.

    Cheers!
