I've done SEO for a company for approximately 3 years, they are very happy w/ the results & design of the websites. They want me to sign a non-disclosure agreement which I signed when initially getting hired, but transferred to a larger entity since then (multiple companies). Should I sign this? I know non-competes are routinely signed. The wording is very all around "you can't do anything with our information, plans, have an opinion, etc."

It's just to protect them .... if i had a single SEO guy managing my web branding, i wouldn't want the possibility he could sell the strategy to the closest competitor for a few bucks.

You loose nothing from signing it ... you'll still be able to use the techniques etc. with another client, it just stops you from sharing the keywords, backlinks etc., with people they dont want you to.

It opens the door to other things with the client, so i'd say sign it. Unless you're going to sell the keyword list to their competitor. then dont.
