I have an authority blog that now gets about 100 uniques a day. It has about 75 articles on it right now in various topics and gets a click or 2 a day from adsense.

I would like to integrate CPA into it and continue to drive traffic to it. Maybe some weight loss, insurance, debt type offers. Should I just drop these in as sponsor links and hope they convert on some of the traffic that is coming or is that just too untargeted? Any advice is appreciated?

As long as the offer allows you to do this, then yeah go for it :)

I completely agree. Cpa's are great, you just need to make sure they are relevant to whatever your blog is about. If you talk about spas, don't try and promote a logging company...just common sense.

They keys to CPA success are usually rooted in add choice (keep it relevant to your audience) and add placement.

The first blog I am running is general in nature, therefore it will get general CPA offers like beauty, health, debt, career, finance, aging, retirement, etc. Those things appeal to everyone no matter what they are interested in. After my main general blog is established, I will start making dozens of micro niche sites with more specific offers.

I just checked with both of my CPA networks and they say running offers off my blog is ok. This will make it so much easier to mask traffic from CL or whatever. All I have to do is post in a section saying "Check out our blog and enter to win a free gas card" Traffic lands on my blog along with other organic traffic, then if they click the network will never know it originated at CL. Am I right?
