    Hey guys,

I've been building backlinks for a month or so. Results on SERPs don't seem to be budging too much. Targetting local traffic / local businesses, so competition is not so much of a problem.

For one of my sites niche + city I am on first page, 7th result. Have been building links for last couple of weeks but have not moved up from there..

If I build 25 links per day and RSS link feed them, to get them indexed, will this over do it and get me screwed. I can be sure to do it on a daily basis... because yahoo explorer one on site is showing 30 inlinks, on another 58... both sites I have confirmed more than 200+ non spammy comments and I checked and their links are live..

    Thanks!

RSS is a good way to get your backlinks indexed. 25 doesn't sound like much. Just be consistent.

I don't recommend using rss for every linking session because it looks un natural to Google if you shove links in it's face everytime.

I use higher PR, do follow link and run them through scrapebox and Google seems to find those quite fast actually.

All at once just doesn't settle well....but test it out and see what happens.

I do use the rss method when I first launch a site to get my site indexed over night with Google. I toss in about 10-15 PR7 links.

I would suggest get links from other sources... and then creating rss links off of those backlinks and submit them through your indexing process... but as it was said already it would appear a little weird to the engines seeing the same 25 rss links submitted every day.... also try to submit to the various rss directories....to stretch out your 25 links..

Thanks for your suggestions guys. I actually have been bulding links from my auto approve list, but I guess this is not the best quality. Almost all of them I believe are no follow, only 1-3% I believe would be do follow and the PR's of the blog pages are all probably 0 and maybe some 1's and 2's, so instead of relying on my auto approve list, I should maybe do some commenting on other blogs, do you think?

I just need to figure out a way to get other links coming in easily, and not just links from blogs - but I dont have money to buy xrumer and all of that.

RSS i thought wasn't too good because google will see the 25 links or so right away, which might be a little too suspicious if they see 25 all in one hit, or does the RSS make google find them over the course of a day instead?

25 a day should be okay. Try to vary it a bit so it maybe 20 one day, then 30, then 22, then 21, then 27, etc.

Don't RSS the same 25 links every day, and don't RSS the daily links every day. Save up the new links from each week and submit to RSS once a week.

    Becky,

I don't understand why I would only submit the RSS once per week? Wouldn't google then find all of the links made in that week all in one single day/hit, and then it raise flags? Wouldn't it be better to RSS the links I build each day, so google sees new links on a daily basis?

    Thanks!
