    Hey,

I've been trying to figuere out weather its worth changing one of my site's themes since its current CTR is sitting at around 0.60% which to say the least, is pure crap.

What kind of impact should I be expecting if I do change the theme?

    thanks

I have done this a few times. You have to do it correctly to not affect your rankings meaning you have to maintain:
    -all your H tags
    -Content + Content layout/order
    -Meta tags
    -Title tags

I think phpbuilt did a good post on it which I found was very useful. Probably exactly the info you are looking for. Search site change and I am sure you will find it

doesn't sound like you have much to lose, also consider that maybe the keywords you are targeting are the source of your low click through

You cannot blame your theme for poor CTR... sometimes, poor optimization is the factor for low CTR.

Instead of changing your theme, I would advise you to optimize your website for higher rankings... If you manage to get high rankings you CTR may improve without changing the theme.

If theme change affects the content - you may see some changes in ranking. But if content stays the same, i.e. only graphics and design is changed you will stay at the same position

I switch the themes around all the time on my sites for split testing, as long as you maintain the important stuff, you are unlikely to see much change either way rankings wise.
