Hi

After reading all the possible post on BHW, I am literally confused as to whether one should go for BMD5 or not.

I have heard it has several problems and crashed every now on then.

One major reason I want to opt for BMD5 is due its support for Pligg, Scuttle, etc. There is also a huge list of PLIGG sites available on BHW which can be used.

However, on the other hand there is AUTOPLIGG + I can use IMACROS for social bookmarking.

Has anyone used the new version of BMD5 and has any feedback?

BMD5 takes about 30mins to 1hr to register just 20 accounts. It takes about 30mins to submit 20 to 30 bookmarks.

Now if you want to start using Pligg and Scuttle - you are talking about 100's of sites. You will be there all day with BMD5. At the moment it is an awful piece of software.

BMD4 was great, and I used it a lot. BMD5 is a complete waste of time, save your money.

Take a look at BookmarkWiz. There's no Pligg or Scuttle support, however you get 30 quality sites...so do you really need the low PR Viagra spammed Pligg sites?

Onlywire gets you about 30 quality sites too with the simple push of a button. Plus its free.

Yeah, I can't get on with BMD5 at the moment. Not good.

I somewhere read in the Black Hat SEO section that one of the person was having some great results by posting to pligg sites. I thought lets experiment and see the result.

I think instead of using onlywire it is better to use imacros, there were some talks, that the free version is not posting correctly - it was on BHW.

I think I better use autopligg for experimentation and built some imacros for social bookmarking purpose.

If you want 30 solid sites I'd go with onlywire as its free. Or just do em up in Imacros since its free too. Their site has good tutorials and BHW has a pretty good community for imacros.

If you want a ton of garbage sites go with BMD because you can add extras in and build your own lists. It works for some and doesnt for others. Since it has a 60 day money back guarantee you dont have anything to lose. I have never heard of anyone being denied a refund.

There has been talk that Bookmark wiz will add in more sites. When that happens I think it will be a bargain at that time. For me, I have a hard time paying $97 for 30 sites.

I would be curious if those saying BMD sucks have tried since they have patched it twice now. I was pretty annoyed at first by its working nicely for me now.

Rhianni32, how long does it take you to register on the 30 or so, main accounts in BMD5?

BMD 5 is working fine now, a couple of patches solved most of the problems.

Hello,

Ya I would like to know how long does it take to register on these sites.

I used imacros to create a process it took me almost 5-6 hours to create them for 20 website. Although next time when I want to register on them it will take me hardly 15 minutes.

Regards,
Rahul

The advantage of Bookmarkwiz is that you can create 30 accounts in like 2 minutes, since it has decptcher support.

So you can create a LOT of accounts, and submit your links multiple times, randomize submissions between accounts, etc

Rhianni32, how long does it take you to register on the 30 or so, main accounts in BMD5?

Maybe 10 minutes or so? Thats a good question kendra I really should time it to be specific. Right now I do about a hundred accounts at a time and then do work in another window. I let the capchas build up. Then type in a dozen or so. Then go back to the other window.

You know what I'll test this tonight. We have way too many BMD5 threads. Some people are having good use and others arent. As a community we could use a better definition of what "good results" mean. Especially for those debating getting it or not.
I'll test only the URLs that come with BMD. I think thats 100 or so?
I'll time how long it takes to create 1 account. I'll only use the auto account activation feature. I will only post with this 1 brand new account. Then I'll post 1 link and also 1 RSS feedlink for each site and time each stage.

I'll create a new thread in the black hat tools forum cause we have lots of different side conversations with BMD going on it could easily bemissed buried in an existing one.

You are doing better then me.

This thing sucks bad.

Announcement:

20th October, 2009
Due to a high number of users (53%) objecting to the visual aid feature, it will remain disabled. BMD5 will remain as a white hat tool.

About 30% of BMD users took part in our 1 week poll:
53% said No.
6% said Yes, Expensive.
41% said Yes, Cheap.

What the fuck? BMD is dead for me with that decision! Don't buy it! It is full of bugs, too and has a horrible success rate.

I have both and BookmarkWiz works better for me.

Hmm yeah that does change things up a bit. I still have 2 weeks for my trial I might just bail.
