I need some advice on if I should advertise using adwords on google when I'm already listed top 10 for most keywords relating to my dating website ? I'm wondering if it would be wasting money..I was thinking to use my advertising cash on MSN or Yahoo in order to spread my risk. Any thoughts or advice sure would be helpful ....Thanks

If your already top ten then i would reccomend using top ten to advertise an affiliate site to bring more traffic to your main site.. but thats just me..

Research shows that in order to be really effective, you need to rank somewhere in the top 3. The top 10 is okay, but most people don't click further down than the top 3.

If you don't want to use PPC, then you need to push it up by doing linkwheels and other forms of free traffic generation.

Yes I am usually in the top 5 of search engine results with my own site, not an affiliate site.. Single japanese women, single japanese ladies, dating japanese etc.. I'm doing really well for search. My site is Japanese friend finder.com ...

WhizGizmo What is a link wheel ? Anyway I've been marketing sites over 10 years and my main thing up to now was search engines and some link exchanges then paid advertising on other well known websites.
I think it's time to get better at what I do.. I was thinking that if a free link was on google that the paid link may take away my free link traffic and I end up paying for the same results :D

I say it isn't worth it, unless you get the top 3 positions in adwords for a few cents
