I have a site that I have built a lot of links to from BHW services, however I am not ranking above 50 position for most keywords and pages.

I had an SEO company audit my site and they said that I may be penalized because they cannot find any keywords my site ranks for using SEMRUSH. However, in Market Samurai I see that I have rankings for all my pages between 50-100 position.

On my end, I looked in webmaster tools and do not see any manual actions marked as spam techniques. If I type my URL into Google all my pages show up as indexed. So that tells me I am not penalized right?

That company suggested that I start over with a new domain and start rebuilding better links. Do you agree?

First thing I would do is check onsite SEO. See phpbuilt's post and make sure your KWD density is in order. From there it's a matter of the authority of your links as well as the context. Sounds like you're ranking top 100 which tells me you're not penalized. You've just got to make onsite SEO great and then get better links. I wouldn't even think of starting over at this time. Test a few pages and lower your KWD density accordingly. It's an easy thing to change and results are fast. From there you can go after better links. Test on just a few pages for now so you see exactly what happens. This is what REAL Seo is all about..TEST, TEST, and RETEST.

I agree with all of this. I couldn't have said it much better. OP, now that you have links, it's time to focus on your on-page SEO.

I agree with the others that a full reboot is hardly necessary. Obviously you could dig in a bit more, and try to figure out how/why you don't appear to be ranking in the SEMRUSH analysis, but to me it seems likely whoever did your analysis was less than thorough. Based on the data you are providing it seems very unlikely you are penalized - perhaps a more thorough analysis of the competition will provide you a better guideline for what keywords you can rank for relative to this site as well as the types of links to seek, and the types of websites to get them placed onto.

Seems really unlikely to be a penalty, and just seems like your site is under-optimized likely both on-page, and from having a limited number of backlinks when compared to other sites in your niche. Keep plugging away!

i feel like my on page seo is good. i have the keywords in all of the right spots and not over optimized.

i had some high pr backlinks sent to my site (188 of them) from BHW seller, but that didn't do anything to bump my results. I had it for 2 months. I cancelled the service and my ranks are still the same.

here are images for 3 keywords i am trying to rank for. how does this competition look?

Doesn't look like tough competition on the surface...Have the links been indexed?

And while you might think things are OK with SEO and not over optimized, others may disagree. If you want one of us to look then PM. I would question how "high pr" those backlinks really were. We talking blog comments or SAPE or ? How many links are you talking per keyword/page? Something doesn't add up.

Good luck to you though. It's ALWAYS a learning game with google and SEO. Never ends. But it keeps life interesting...
