I have a BacklinksIndexer account and I could use it to help Google index my BLs. Do you guys have any experience whether a "forced" indexation is better for a website or should I rather leave it to index in a natural way even if 70% off my BLs may never be found by G.? Thanks!

I wonder this to. Up to now I don't as I wanna be as naturall as possible, but I don't know the underlying technology behind this pinging "thing".

Anyone want to give an in depth description on how it works? For me, once I have understood the fundamental way in which I works, I will then consider it.

But right now, if I was Google and I received 10,000 pings, and one site suddenly appeared in all of those 10000 sites, that would cause me to put up a red flag.

I would be like "Oh look, I just recieved 10,000 pings from all these sites, and oh look, there's only one site which is suddenly appearing in them all, all linking to that one site" /sarcasm.

The chances of that happening naturally must <0.0001%. Maybe I'm wrong.

I'm not talking about pinging here. I ment to build BLs to you BLs so they can get indexed at least.

I always index my backlinks but only the spammy ones. If it is a legit blog comment for example, then I don't even bother indexing it as Google does the work for me.

The best way to index your backlinks it to create backlinks to your backlinks. Hope it makes sense!

yes you can always go for indexing...

are all the links created on same day ?? Say link 1 was on day 1 , link 2 on day 2 and so on till link 100 on say day 20

then on day 21 -- put all 100 in indexer... so when it gets indexed the date of publishing link will be seen

I'm trying to do it in small batches. Everytime I have a new report I'd add it to the indexer. The limit is 50/day. Waiting e.g. a month and adding many links at once to the indexer might be a bit risky, don't you think?

Forced indexing vs Natural Indexing. That depends on the type of backlinks. I usually wait for 10-15 days to get my backlinks indexed by Google naturally. After 15 days I will initiate the forced indexing by pinging, rss feed submissions and many other.

Crawling IMO is enough. I wouldn't waste resources trying to get everything indexed because you won't, and your money will be better spent on other things like content, social media promotion, blah blah blah

I do not agree with you sir. But hey I do not sell backlinks...

Crawled backlinks are counted by big G but IMO an indexed backlink is worth more.

I would spend *some* time trying to get them crawled. The best way is to have a network of your web 2.0 sites — this can give you massive index rates. Apart from that, bookmark, RSS feeds, submit to Lindexed and BacklinkIndexer that you have an account with. Do things that won't take a lot of time and if they get a few hundred extra links indexed, great.

I won't fixate too much on it because you're never in 100% control of what gets indexed and your time will be better spent on doing other things. But yes, as a very basic thing, sure!

Sure you would want indexed over not, but there has to be a cost vs reward.

Many indexing services worth anything can be quite expensive, and unless your budget is limitless, your resources are better spent elsewhere.
