I have done my engineering and my interest has completely moved to marketing ever since I moved to IM. The reason I am thinking to consider MBA in marketing is because I will be able to develop my social skills as MBA is considered to be known for overall personality development and hot chicks . Do you think it will be worth spending $10k on the 2 years program.

PS: I am already making enough from IM so no worries about the job. I just need the experience+skills related to marketing

An MBA will always help you, even in IM. But most importantly is good if you ever need to get a job (in case IM will not get you all the way)

The more education one acquires means more knowledge, which used correctly should mean more money...

Usually I would say your time and money is much better spent elsewhere, but $10k isn't bad.

Just keep in mind that case studies are usually nonsense.

If you are solely interested in developing interpersonal relations, you might want to check out something like toastmasters.

On a serious note, MBA will surely help and enrich your skills but don't take it easily
esp if you are thinking of pursuing it from Top League B-schools.
About MBA and Specialisation to opt for, I don't think any b-school has a specialised course in Internet Marketing as of now
But you can opt for Dual specialisation (Marketing and Information Tech Combo) is most suitable based on your profile.

never heard of a MBA in IM. I have a mba in international marketing which to be honest, wasn't very useful. out of 30 courses, only 2 were worth it, but yeah, they were worth it, if you can you should definitely go for it. however, conventional marketing is not always very useful in internet marketing...

^^ I agree with steelballs. Especially an MBA in marketing would help you getting more knowledge on how to deal with the clients and help you closing deals more easily than you could without it.
