    Hi

There are many chineze companies offering laptops at 80% discount. I know the first thing you'd say is scam..

    And your probably right..

The thing is.. Are there any legit companies? If yes how is it possible that they sell them 80% cheaper..

As an example of some companies I found:

    laplandery.com

    shundexin.com

and others. They have high rating on alibaba.

    Can anyone clarify this?

    Thanks

They are either knockoffs, which makes things a total crapshoot in terms of the quality you get, and yes, they could be a scam. Just because they are on Alibaba, does not mean they are 100% legit.

There was a Russian company that scammed me a long while ago, and once I told Alibaba, you know what they did? Nothing. So, even if people complained about these companies before, doesn't mean Alibaba removes them from the site as much as they should.

    Good luck.

Their Quality sucks do not buy from them. If something is too cheap to be true it has it's reasons. Usually their stuff tends to brake down in a month because of the cheap materials used during manufacturing process. Cheap LCD screens, poor view angle. so definitely no!

You cant make sure if they are fake or not just from the website description. I had a friend who ordered an original iphone 5(this is the way it was described on Alibaba) and when he opened the box it was a crappy replica.

80% Off means you will get a good laptop for only around $80......... They will work for two days and die
It will be better to buy it from a reputed place.

Yeah, I wouldn't purchase it. My friend purchased a tablet cheap from china and it was not the brand he ordered. He couldn't even find a company name on it or in the settings.

I'd guess they would be the same quality, or even less, as those cheap Chinese brand phones you can buy off ebay for like 1/5th of the price of the original phone they look like.

I personally wouldn't go for it unless you want to experience it yourself.

Never trust products coming from China... most of them are substandard and low quality.. That's all I can say!

I bought a netbook in Saigon for around £150 a couple of years ago...back home the same one cost £250. That was a good saving but 80% off is too good to be true.

Most the laptops you buy in Asia don't come with Windows license, even the ones in the big shops which is partly why they are cheaper.

that is really not worth the risk, most of the people who but that laptop is also a con artist. They will sell the laptop at full price with a little discount and mark up specification.

They will be buying knock offs stolen from the production line...

The caveat emptor is will you be the lucky one who gets a good deal...

If you were in China then I am sure you could close the deal and get a good one...

The risk you take is buying off a third party margin stacker - risky - he might be the one who shafts you...

If there is something I wouldn't buy from China it would be electronics.

80% discount leaves you with minimum risk really. LOL But i already have purchased several electronic devices from China. They last you about a week give or take a few days. LOL

China does not respect intellectual property/copyrights at all. The internal components are probably super-cheap knockoffs with stickers of reputable companies affixed to them. Saving 80% means nothing if the laptop does not even survive being bounced around in the shipping container on its ship ride to the port. There's nothing like waiting 2-3 weeks for a computer to arrive only to find out it won't boot or has a pirated version of Windows installed.

i think you should contact to them and ask for their customers who purchase from them before then get review from them. that would be help you. 80% off can happen in china no doubt but quality would be a real concern.
