Should I bother making a guide for this?

I found a game that has millions of players online. I've been doing a lot of searching and I can't find any guide for this game. Anywhere. I've found forums for this game, blogs about this game, and lots of other sites about this game, but no affiliate products at all.

My concern is that when I type keywords related to this game into google's keyword tool, nobody searches for anything related to this game. The name of this game get a little over 45,000 searches a month, but everything else, such as: name of game tips, name of game cheats, name of game faq, name of game guide, etc. all get less than 500 searches per month. Every other keyword is "Not Enough Data".

I think this could be a gold mine, since there is no other product for this game available, and there are a lot of potential buyers, since millions of people play this game. But it could also be extremely difficult to target those buyers.

I'm thinking about writing up a guide and putting it on Clickbank, but I don't want to waste my time if I can't get any affiliates to promote it, due to how hard it would be to target the proper audience.

What do you guys think, should I go for it, or move on to the next idea?

No I'm not going to give out the name of the game, or any other information about it so don't ask!

Ask on the game forum that you are writing a guide for the game and ask them how much they are wiling to pay for it.

Guys in the forums are hard core fans and your future customers.

I hope its the answer to your question.

Set up a landing page with an opt in for tips related to the game - set up an autoresponder etc. As soon as you get enough interest then actually write the guide and sell it to your list.
