Well... I wouldn't call them articles really. Just long descriptions that are unique.

My assistant has been writing little bits of content on my site for about 3 months now and I have approx. 200 pages of light 200-250 word unique content with pics. Would it be worth my while to go back and kw optimize these small pages (change url/title/meta/include kw at least once in content)? Not really sure how much weight these little pages would carry and if it would even be worth my time. Was using her posted content as just small daily filler while I was posting larger articles.

If there are keywords that get at least 50 searches per month and that are pertinent to those 200-word posts, then it's worth it. You don't need to change the URL. Including the keyword once in the title and body of the article is enough for each article.

cool im glad that changing the url is not needed. Would have to do a bunch of redirects because I have lots of pingbacks from other blogs that are linked to. At this point I am focusing strictly on onpage seo and not messing with backlinks so much.
