Should I be promoting those $100+ per sale products?

I currently promote $20-$40 products and have only made $200 in 5 months. I have a method that I believe no one else uses to make sales so I was wondering why don't I just promote $100+ products with recurring billing?

Will there be more refunds/charge-backs. I'm assuming it's safer to promote cheaper products as more people are likely to buy and not refund?

Well if the promotion is targeted then it would work out better since the people are coming to buy THAT product anyway . But it is true since they cost more there might be more chargebacks .... but hey ..you don't know till you dont try :)

If the product is GOOD ENOUGH, you will not have too many chargebacks, but if you promote a shitty product that overpriced you bet that you will have a ton of chargebacks.
Just find a product that is expensive and worth the money, then you can promote it without any fear of too many chargebacks ;)

When promoting products as an affiliate it is a general rule that the larger the promotion the more risk taken like the higher the
chargeback rate and the less conversions.

Yeah. which was why I was thinking of just selling $25 reccurring products, make 4 sales (easy) then I'll be making more than $100 a month anyway.

Personally if I was you Ashhh I would focus on getting more leads to my current offers and higher conversion rates. :)

Well if you think that product is good and you can get sales with your targetted audience then why not. There's nothing wrong in giving it a try i guess.
