So I have a client who’s blog will now be generating around 1.5 lakh page views monthly, majority is coming from quizzes, and with some links and some luck lol we can get it to 5 lakh page views in 2 - 4 months time.

Now the issue is two big ad networks have turned his site down, and one says google ad exchange has blacklisted his url. However his adsense account is working.

So my question is since all the ad networks, use google advertisers or their servers doesn’t it make sense for him to quit working on this blog as even if he gets 5 or 10 lakh page views those big ad networks won’t take him in.

    or

I should advise him to get higher page views say 5 or 10 lakh and then some big ad network which doesn’t care about google ad exchange may take his site under consideration, if yes which networks are those?

I'd add more content and get high quality PBN and guest post links. ;)

that’s not what I’m really asking links and rankings is not a issue for us, what our concern is what good is if we get 5 - 10 lakh mostly page views and no big network monetises it as google claims our url is blacklisted in it’s ad exchange but the adsense is working fine

Who can you contact to get the URL unblacklisted? If you can find out why it got blacklisted, perhaps you can remove those reasons, and in the long run be able to apply for those networks again.

After being on the forum for a few years you still haven't adjusted to using the internationally known and accepted numbering system as against India's lakh?

Please do make things easier for those of us not from India. Thank you,

let me go back and read the OP

I'm assuming your traffic isn't primarily from search. If so, tell him to buy a new domain, redirect the old domain, notify adsense of the change of domain and redirect they'll approve your site(I've done this before), now go back to Google analytics and edit every detail of the account to match the new domain(I've done this before to get approved by a network requiring higher traffic)
Make sure every URL permalinks remain the same only domain is changed, wait for some months(2 or 3) go back to those 'big' ad networks, talk with them using totally new/different contact details, if possible ones matching the new domain name such as business custom email address(zohomail can work for free), then apply with totally different details and you'll be approved or your chances will be higher this time.

Note that these will only make sense if your traffic is primarily not search traffic.
    Good luck.

Edit: You can throw in a little redesign of the site just in case you'll be talking to the same rep again.

    Wow, that is surprising.

Maybe you should continue working with what you have, if he ever gets hit by any algo, he should take that as the time to apply the suggestion up above. Right now there's almost nothing he can do, they don't want to approve his site.

By the way, what are these big ad networks? Taboola? Or One of the Ad Ops guys?

Just so I know who is unnecessarily unreasonable.

Taboola ads are spammy maybe they pay great but I would avoid using it

I am also keen to know.

Higher page views won't necessarily get them to change their minds. They can be really sticky about things.
However, I wouldn't abandon the site totally.
I second the advice of HenryObi.

Well at this point it's better to make something from this site then nothing so again if he's going to let it go it's better if he put thoes kind of ads in the site .. why lose traffic?
