I'm trying to sell sex toys and I'm wondering weather it would be a good idea to include pictures of the toys in action. A lot of people in particular would search for the product just to see what it looks like and what it does. Should I add a section or maybe get someone to draw a picture? Or keep the site PG?

    Thank you for your ideas

Show the pictures. If your site is attracting an audience that needs parental guidance, you are targeting the wrong market.

We are just about to launch a sex toys site as well.

Basically all the research and competitor analysis we did suggested (at least in my country) that people want the site to look classy.

In my opinion you want to try market your product to the more conservative people as well who might shy away from your website if there are lots of adult pictures.

All our competitors especially the top ones have no nude pictures on the site.

But for example, here is a nice demo video for a product (we dont sell it though) but i thought it shows how you can demonstrate the product without making it look seedy.

    here is the video

Well, I don't have to show them but people even search a lot just for the pictures of the product just to see how it works and their always very graphic. Rest assured that the pictures would be quite graphic and would particularly include before/after shots of womens genitalia. No I don't see how the toy would attract a younger audience but I was thinking about from an SEO perspective. I thought google might be less kind to me with those kinds of pictures?
