What's up everyone. About a month ago I quit my job to enter into internet marketing full time, I already have a source of side income so I thought why not, I'm in my early 20s now and also figured this would be the best age to start my business. Anyway I come from a country (Malaysia) where the currency is very low and making even a little bit of USD is more than enough to exceed the average salary for university graduates here. (500USD a month), living costs are also relatively low here which inspires me even more. I've been spending a few weeks setting everything up now from my ecommerce websites to my social media accounts. I thought it'd be a good idea to continue this journey here to share it with people who are doing something similar, and hopefully get some motivation and advice as well. Well, so far what I've done/have: -2 Complete ecommerce sites with a professional design and catalog that is expanding daily. 1 is in a highly specific niche and the other is more of a general store. - 4 Instagram/Twitter/pinterest accounts and bots. -domains to redirect from social media accounts to my main website. For the general store, each category will have its own domain name redirect and instagram/twitter/pintrest account. My plan is to use a bot (mass planner) to get followers and engagement on the social media accounts which will lead to SALES. To do list, today. Since I've only just finished setting up the websites. I will now be adding pictures and posts to my instagram, twitter and pinterest accounts before I start following people. Question To anyone who's used social media for instagram, I would really appreciete your advice, is it okay to have a instagram page with only product posts and fewer content posts? As I want to set things as quickly as possible, once I list at least 50% of my catalog on the pages I will start following people. Current Focus My main focus now is to start growing my social media accounts and see how the traffic performs. I will also be testing elements of my websites' design (trust badges, call to action, description) to see how I can optimize my conversion rate. Conclusion My goal is start to selling daily and eventually work my way up to $400 a day by increasing my catalog, categories and social media accounts. I will be updating this journey whenever any progress has been made. I would greatly appreciete any advice from senior members and hope to learn as much as I can. Stay tuned!
