    Hello All

I have been long time lurker on the forum and am deciding to make a journey to keep my self motivated and dedicated. Personally I am a major procrastinator and it takes me alot of effort to keep focused. I started this dropshipping project from scratch about a month go where I built my site.

Personally I believe that making money online should not be too difficult however you need to be smart about it and if you are not willing to invest money, you must invest time. That is what I did. I picked a free shopify theme. Scoped out some products that are trendy and flashy mostly for impulse purchases. I made a logo, added a banner image and made my site look pretty good IMO for a free theme. Basically if you don't want to buy a theme you have to do quite a bit of coding to add in cool stuff.

I launched my site a few hours ago and have already made 2 sales amounting to 25$ USD.

This journey will show you step by step how I turn (hopefully) my $6.88 domain investment into much more. I am currently running on shopify trial with about a month left. So soon i'll have to purchase the full plan. BUT so far this is what I have done:

Made site in shopify with free theme: added trust badges, shipping and privacy policy, LOGO, terms of service, coded in related products, added some apps, changed button color to green (most converting colour)
and made a few posts on reddit

Right now I'm focusing on less common marketing strategies such as Reddit posting and YouTube videos ie media creation. After optimizing my site I think I will do IG ads

This is interesting, I too have just started my shopify site for dropshipping. I am way behind you, right now I am still in the adding products to site step. Excited to see how this goes, would you mind giving advice from where you have learned as I do this method as well? Not asking anything specific right now, just for future reference!

You have to spend time on your website that is probably the most important thing. A clean site gives the impression of authority and safety. Also I suggest that you simply focus on a few central products to promote while the rest are just filler to make your site look credible. Personally I do not like the free + shipping I just give free shipping instead + product price in one
