I always stood up for Rich Dad Poor Dad and what it was teaching., but after seeing this video im truly shocked by this con artist!

http://www.cbc.ca/marketplace/2010/road_to_rich_dad/main.html

DONT BUY HIS COURSES THEY ARE SCAMS! Like 90% of the WSO and Click Bank Products!

Download the audio/ebooks from torrent sites, but DO NOT buy his training courses! There are some good info about the way the rich think and how the middle and lower class thinks and other stuff that is worth while, but from the looks of that video.... his training courses are SCAM!

Thoughts for food. Has anyone done one of his 3 day training seminars?

I read a web site a few years ago that destroyed his whole lie about how he became the "Rich dad poor dad" guru. Basically his whole strory was made up.

I watcehd aUK TV program on Money last week and there he was ....showing off his mansion and about 10 Lambo cars.....LOL well...do as he does not as he says. It clearly works. Many of the top I.M. follwot he same formula. Look/act rich, sell high priced crap watch the money roll in act more rich...and arond the money circle we go.

There was a British show that came out a bout a week ago called, "Money". It documented people who attend seminars like that. Even interviewed that author and his wife. Some of the people who attended those seminars were worse off financially. Their were some success stories also though. The filename is "Money.S01E01.WS.PDTV.XviD-FTP"

I love his book , Even he is a scammer

I don't remember where I read it but Robert has admitted that he's just the face for his products and that he has nothing to do with creating them. A complete fraud.

I only read his books. Don't care about other programs.

yeah at the end of the video he says he's not happy with the seminars etc and he tried to get out....which is a load of B*S I.M.H.O. Maybe he's not happy with the method when caught but glad to take the cash? Surely if he has "crack lawyers" he can get out of that contract? Hmm...sadly so many scams everywhere when it comes to "making money."

Sort of reminds me of all those infom commericas on tv,
where you could buy houses for no money down and make a fortune, i think one of the fronters wounded up in jail for tax evasion.

Ha ha, I went to one of the seminars after reading the book. It was a high pressure environment, designed to get people to sign up for a $500 course, which would have led to the next course..........

I understand that the guy does allow some other company to run these seminars. Given the bad rap they seem to have, you would have thought he'd have something to say about it.

Irrespective, the original book RDPD, is still well worth reading!

Haha, reminds me of another con artist - Tom Vu.

I lost faith in Kiyosaki years ago. Looks at all his books. Nothing is new since his 3rd book.

He retired from real estate and is a poker player now. He is an old commercial from the 1980's for those who dont know what he was like.

How much does a mansion cost to rent for a video shoot? I know you can rent a nice mansion for as low as $7,000/month but not sure about 1 or 2 days.

This is an investigative report on Robert Kiyosaki

wow what a surprise, I thought he was the real deal.

Whenever you attend seminars that focus on creating wealth.. Often times, there are some tidbits you can take away from the experience, and without paying. Focus your brain on thinking outside the box and you'll learn enough from the free part to set you on your way if you apply yourself. They obviously explain the process enough for you to be interested enough to fork out how ever much money they request at the end, so rather than buying into it (because the ultimate goal is pretty much ALWAYS to sell you something), just go home and dig deeper into the surface they scratched for you. I'd be willing to bet that a lot of people who have "wealth systems" earn more money from selling their systems than actually using their systems, themselves.

I started my IM career thanks to Robert, It's not that I paid for his courses but I did read his books and learned Financial Education. It showed me how to stand out out of the crowd.

Congrat on that though, HOWEVER, his course is still some fancy BS. Don't believe me, just look at how many ppl re-apply for his course!!

I always believe that true scam artist is someone who can scam the same ppl over and over

and you know what's the worst thing here, I actualy agree with most of what he says, from my own experience lol

People are getting mixed up over categories here. A specific business or investing system is different from a financial methodology, which is also different from the seminar business, which is also different from a specific personality. One IM ebook or software may be magnificent, the next one crap, but we don't call all IM a scam because of the bad product. Some people do buy investment RE for no money down, but that is a different skill set than the one needed to sell a training product on an infomercial. And so on.

Donald Trump did do some impressive RE development wheeling and dealing to become a tycoon, regardless of what you think of his gaudy personality or reality TV shows. Some entrepreneurs are asked to front for financial seminars the same way celebrities get to endorse products. The lousy set up of the seminars does not negate what the entrepreneurs did to succeed where they did. Kiyosaki taught or fronted for some really good financial info, which was set up in a biographical package that may or may not be accurate. He can be largely forgiven the latter in light of the benefits of the former.

What next, will we be complaining about Plato writing dialogues that have engaged thinking people for millenia, which may or may not accurately reflect Socrates? Would we have been better served with him writing a dry textbook, which was 100% accurate, that was promptly forgotten by history?
