Wow...

wtf ???? shipping cost higher than the item.. hahaha :D

Lol. If thats your product, make sure tos includes non-refundable shipping...

Kidding aside, what is that for overnight? What method of delivery?

It has been said that if the buyer pays for shipping which is more then the cost of the good, then he probably would end up in a police station.

I remember I bought something from the west coast of america, and it cost more to ship to the UK than the item did lol...wasnt as stupidly expensive at THAT though...thats like, over 5x more than the original purchase ^^

EDIT: @LordHigh, why do they say that?

Rofl, 80 bucks to ship some tea, pretty sure it would be less than that to ship it to the moon.

Gotta remember there is no tax, import/export laws, or governmental institution on the moon. All you have to do is pay for fuel ;)

I think they didn't calculate their shipping properly. I made the mistake of buying K-cups from Canada before. Shipping was about $40 for $20 worth of pumpkin coffee (that tasted like caca anyways).

SOME TEA, is the correct keyword.
Its not premium tea, or anything at all... its just to put on the effin' table..

... so cheesed..:18:

You laugh, but there are actually projects that have been proposed to build an elevator to the moon:

We might just see that in the next couple of decades.

That's what people said about going to the moon 50 years ago too. It's easy to be sceptical, and yet there are people at NASA right now working on projects like this, while we peons are worrying about our little ant lives here on Earth.

I'm not skeptical - we can do just about anything we set our minds to. The gif represents my frustration with spending $$$ on something like that (we're talking BILLIONS of dollars for something like an elevator to the heavens to work) when our country (i.e. - USA) has the financial issues that it does...

The post wasn't anything personal man...

NASA budget = 0.60% of Fed Budget.

There's tons of tech that comes from projects like this and subsequently jobs. If we don't stay ahead of the curve technologically, countries like China will surpass us economically in no time (already projected to happen in 2014) and eat our lunch.

That's not even mentioning the fact that projects like going to the moon inspire people, there were tons of kids who listened to Kennedy's "we're going to go to the moon" speech and went into science and engineering and in less than a decade it was accomplished.
