Love your journey @Sherb ! That insipired me to write my own journey thread.

Don't stress that much about weight going day down day up. IMO GaryVee's coach said it best: "Don't be impressed by very quick, drastic weight loss. Be impressed by significant weight loss sustained over a long time without sacrificing quality of life"

    General Updates

The week got the best of me this time. Putting out fires in my day job and chugging through several content writing assignments left minimal time for project related work.

Main focuses for next week have not changed from the previous week:
    • Structuring 5k+ word Iceland article, plus posting two more articles
    • Weekly focus on affiliate site B1
    • Put more focus onto the other travel site
    • Get the brewery site to a form of content-based “done” (i.e. get the rest of the breweries edited)
    • Work on escape rooms site (this is the next smallest one that I think I can get to content-based “done” relatively quickly)
Ordered over 50,000 words of content from my writers on various topics for February.

    A1: Iceland Travel Site

Content requested for February from writers: Four articles, 9,000 words.
    • I decided to make the South Iceland ebook a guide post. There are already posts live on-site for guides to East and North Iceland. With South up, I can request one for West and have a good set of guide posts/pages for all four corners. I took back to FancyHands and requested someone to download the 51 images and name the files such that I could easily place onsite on the post.
    • I let time get away from me this week on posting to the Iceland site. Wednesday evening (today) I posted an article of ~1500 words to the site. This it targeting a 480MS term. I added a dozen shots from Instagram and noted the photographers for each, then after posting added to two relevant subreddits, Facebook and Twitter.
Growth of 30-day MAUs (dark blue line):

The site has grown in organic keywords in the top 100 by 40% in January, from ~1,000 to over 1,400.

    A2: Other Travel Site

Content requested for February from writers: One article, 1,500 words.
    • I have seven “activities” pages on a dropdown on the main menu of this site. Four of them had ~1,000 to 1,500 words of content on them. I received the content for a fifth. The pages are formatted, but have not been revised and images have not been added. Trying to put my need for perfectionism aside, I grabbed the fifth page of content, formatted, and added it to the site as-is with headings, at a bit over 1,500 words. This is targeting an 880 MS term.
    • Again putting my need for perfectionism aside, I popped a formatted article up of 1,006 words. Added the featured image, categories and tags and ended up getting it Yoast greenlit for readability and SEO. On a roll, I put up another of my writer’s articles in the same fashion. This one was 1,562 words and was also greenlit. On a role, I added one more, again green for readability and SEO, and a hair under 1,000 words. I backdated two of the three posts, and set the third for today.
B1: Tools/Outdoor Products Amazon Affiliate Site

Content requested for February from writers: Four articles, 5,000 words, Four product reviews, 5,000 words.
    • The site has 13 product reviews, and four blog posts that are currently drafts (from some of my local writers). The site currently ranks top 100 for 71 keywords, and is page two for several X,XXX MS terms. Most of the rankings are from a single product review, so that is the review I planned to start with overhauling.
    • The first product review was in solid shape at just around 800 words. A few things I wasn’t a huge fan of with the review were: the slider for alternative options was almost at the top, there wasn’t enough imagery, it needed more statistical information, comments were enabled, and the image on site was grainy. Moved the slider to the bottom, added three more images and some fast facts, disabled comments, fixed the headings, and made the featured image higher quality. New word count is 907. This is a 2,400 MS term for the product, 1,000 MS for the product “review” term. The product is ~$750.
B2: Tools/Outdoor Products Amazon Affiliate Site

Content requested for February from writers: One article, 1,000 words, Seven product reviews, 11,000 words.

B5: Baby Products Amazon Affiliate Site

Content requested for February from writers: One article, 1,500 words.

    B7: Fitness Amazon Affiliate Site

Content requested for February from writers: Two articles, 2,500 words.

    C4: Local Breweries Project

Content requested for February from writers: One article, 1,500 words.

    Instagram Growth Progression

    Stats from 1/15 to 1/30:

After over a week of being stuck, Account 2 has finally started posing forwards again in the past couple days. 31,854 new followers in January with one day left. I’m hoping things push strongly tomorrow and it hits 33,000 new followers by month-end.

    NSFW Website Projects
    • For the one project I plan on maintaining for a bit, I went to the .net and removed the Smush Pro, Hummingbird, Hello Dolly, and WMPU Dev Dashboard plugins. Activated Akismet, downloaded, installed and activated both Imagify and WP Rocket. Did not configure WP Rocket, but ran Imagify to compress the photos (the site is 95% photos currently).
    • Downloaded a massive amount of photos for this person from a Patreon account they manage, and organized them a bit. Grabbed a 12-image album and renamed the files, then uploaded them to the site. Added a gallery with those 12 images. Formatted properly. Then popped a post up on a relevant subreddit straight to the gallery. (within five minutes of posting, there were 50+ people active on the page, so that’s nice).
The website associated with this project has 6,300+ visitors/7,100+ sessions over the past 28 days with absolutely no promotion. This does not include over 2,000 visitors from today based on the post above. I need to find a better way to monetize...

    Financial Notes for the Week
    • The big three investment accounts (Fidelity, Vanguard, Robinhood) have grown by over $5,000 in January, even with several solid down days.
    Health Notes for the Week

Lots of fluctuation this week, but still on a relatively downward trend. As of yesterday, down 12.8 pounds in 30 days. Went off the rails a bit. I will be doing the following: intermittent fasting but not keto over the weekend, IF and keto Monday to Thursday, cheat days Friday through Sunday, and then back on the wagon doing IF and keto on an 18/6 schedule.

After next Sunday I will be adapting to a dumbbell workout in addition to the step goals. I plan to do a solid weights workout three times per week, and run at least three miles three times per week as well.

Great post. Looks like there were a few hurdles this week but your on track.

Your step counts put me to shame. I try to average the 10K (Averaged about 11.4K per day in January) but I have days of 6K through to 26K. You look like your averaging around 14-15K. Do you have a desk job during the day ? How do you keep up the motivation for the walking? How are you breaking up your walking during the day? Any tips for me ? Are you listening to podcasts (self improvement would be my guess), music or nothing at all?

I am losing at 4-7 pounds a month with out any diet. I think that just tracking my weight loss helps me make better decisions each day. I would recommend reading the "4 hour body" as I think it would suit your sort of personality based on your posts.

Good luck with the sites and the weight loss :)

    Very much appreciated!

"Contents"? No, thanks, I am going to pass on that. Thanks for stopping by though.

Thanks! Yeah, the ups and downs are to be expected. I'm keeping the graph as a way to show a (hopeful) downward trend over time. Best of luck on your journey as well!

Hi there! Yes, I've got a desk job during the day. I try to stay up and walking around a good bit. My bouts typically will consist of:
    • Walking the dog in the morning before heading into the office
    • Parking in the furthest parking space
    • 1.5 to 2 miles in the morning + 1.5 to 2 miles at lunchtime (alternatively 3.5-4 miles at lunch time)
    • Walking the dog upon getting home from the office
Working on adding a jog in there where possible. The weather has been pretty garbage the past few days though. Currently, I don't listen to anything while walking. It's my time to unwind and practice mindfulness, living in the moment and such. Plus I'm not really a fan of headphones or earbuds.

Also, I've been suggesting Four Hour Body to BHW members for years now haha. Great choice!:

    Great response.

Thanks for the feedback. I understand the issue with headphones/earbuds and its a real pain if your running/jogging but for walking I would recommend playing some podcasts so you can learn at the same time. I also understand using that time for quiet so you can think so its a bit of a trade off but if your walking that much listening to a podcast on one of the walks might be worthwhile.

I usually just go walking where no one is and put it on speaker instead of headphones. That obviously isn't an option in the cities but in rural or residential areas it can be OK.

Really enjoying the journey and I think personality wise we are probably very similar.

    Keep up the great work.

(created a login to respond here..) Just want to chime in on walking. I started walking seriously about 2 years ago. Am up to 6 miles, 4 days/week in 95 minutes. All I did was go to mapmyrun.com and draw a 3 mile loop beginning/ending at my house and I do as many laps as I can -- quickly. I really recommend it. Also, I listen to podcasts, mostly IM related. Now that I have a login, guess I'll follow Sherb's journey - thanks!

Good journey so far, you are on the right track. Have you heard about Yohimbin HCL? It's one of "those fatburners" that actually work but you still have to do Cardio though. If you have some time you can read more about it here : https://legionathletics.com/yohimbine/ - Ive used it a couple years ago and had some good results

No per-project update this week. Going to lump it into next week's. I was sick for a couple days and had a backlog of content writing tasks to get through. Had to get the house in order for family to come, and a massive presentation at my day job to prepare for and present. Things were done, but not enough to warrant a full overview. This time next week, stay tuned for more.

    A (kind of) TL;DR though:

Experiencing a lot of "Lack of focus and proper planning" discussed in the OP. I need to spend some time getting my thoughts in gear and mapping a plan out. Things are moving in the right direction, but if I was able to structure my ideas and progression better, I know that would multiply.

I need to step back from the volume of content I am writing for clients. For that reason, unless you are a past or current client of mine (grandfathered in at your promised rate), content writing from Sherb is now 10 cents per word. I'm confident that there are dozens of BHW members who would agree that the increased rate is still a bargain for what I provide. But I'm not looking to pre-sell on this journey thread, so I digress.

I've got a good 40,000+ words (estimated) of content drafted up for the Iceland site. I need to sit down, take the time and actually go through and revise things to me approval level compared to what is provided by my local writers. I upgraded my FancyHands membership, and have a ton of "requests", which I plan to use to get images gathered from Instagram for these articles, downloaded, renamed, uploaded, and captioned onsite so I can plug and play. I haven't embraced outsourcing as much as I should be this year (yet).

    HEALTH

Weight didn't change much this week. Off the wagon keto-wise probably until Monday, then back full speed ahead. It's funny, I feel like I have more clarity when I'm on keto and intermittent fasting compared to when I'm eating whatever.

    FINANCIAL

The three investment accounts ended up in the green $5,880.67 for January. For YTD through February 5th it's green $6,583.67. I in no way anticipate that continuing at that rate, but for now it sure is nice.

Holdings in Robinhood (my own inputs + $12,000 in margin) remain the same: 42 AAPL, 6 AMZN, 27 MSFT, 24 V, 32 AMT, 20 BRK.B.
Fidelity is ~71 VINIX. Vanguard is 256 VTSAX.

Total cash + investment (not including physical assets) is hovering around $120,000 currently. I'd love to grow that to $200,000 by the end of the year as a stretch goal.

    Go team. See you soon.

@Sherb , this is some solid journey you got going. I wish you best of luck!

I've got two questions, if you don't mind.

Firstly, how on god's green earth do you manage your time so effectively? I mean, you've got a wife and a dog. Both of them require time. Then there's a full time job and a bunch of projects. Doesn't that affect the quality of some of those things? Any tips?

Secondly, how do you get good at writing? I assume you've been writing for a while and a lot, but it's almost like you've got a natural talent for it... How to become good at it if I'm just starting out and English isn't my native language?

    Thanks!

    Hi there!

Time management remains to be seen. For the past several years, it's been a combination of working my ass off, never stopping moving, sleeping less and less, and falling backwards into good fortune. Hopefully that trend can continue through 2019.

For writing, I've been writing a lot since I was a child. Question 3 on my interview with @Geasy here (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/expert-interview-sherb-answers-im-questions.1049915/) has more on that:

I got an old Windows 95 computer for my 8th or 9th birthday and it was so slow that it would only run Office. I spent my weekends from ages 8 to 12 chopping firewood, doing chores around the house with my parents and sister, and writing stories about tornadoes and FBI field agents and abandoned theme parks and everything in between. I put my friends in the stories and then had them read them.
    • Practicing constantly eventually got me to the point where I was winning essay contests.
    • I went to Disney World for a week because I won an essay contest.
    • I've got a shit-ton of trophies in the closet from spelling bees and speech contests and essay contests I won on the state level.
    • I got an all-expenses paid trip to Washington DC because I wrote a killer paper on how we should capture stories of WWII vets before they all die.
    • I spent my last two summers of high school on college campuses getting "the college experience" and learning advanced mathematical concepts... because I wrote a convincing application letter.
    • I got my college education completely paid for because I wrote a shit-ton of essays my senior year of high school and won over a dozen small scholarships as a result.
And now I make a six-figure income between writing I do online, for clients, and in my day job.

Knowing how to write is (to me) the second most important real-world skill you can have. The first being the ability to communicate and filter your thoughts into spoken words and actions.

Thank you very much! Your well wishes are appreciated.

    General Updates

Received plenty of articles from my writers and am putting them to good use. I am going to start posting them as is as soon as I get them to allow them to index, and then revise as time allows for everything except the two travel sites. That starts next week.

The past couple weeks have been slower for projects, and I’m taking that hard. Last week I didn’t feel so great, which is kind of a big deal, because nothing keeps me from my grind. There was a large presentation for our company, and I had my family over for a long weekend.

    Focuses for Next Week
    • Complete and post three articles to Iceland site. Also complete and post Hubspot form and start promoting that service.
    • Add a sidebar to B1, as well as revamp a few more product reviews and enhance some of the pages, then move on to B2.
    • Finish the local breweries site. For real.
    • Get a payment platform set up for the local photography site. The Instagram associated with the site has crossed 27,000 followers, and the engagement rate is so high that the photos are getting more likes on average than all of the highest follower count local accounts that exist. That includes local accounts with 75k+ followers. I’m leaving them in the dust. My two largest competitors compared to myself: Competitor 1, 53.8k followers, 502 average likes in the past 5 posts. Competitor 2, 75.7k followers, 226 average likes in the past 5 posts. Me: 27k followers, 909 average likes in the past 5 posts.
I’ll keep it at that for focuses. I’m sure I’ll mess with other projects a bit, but I want to focus on the above four bullets as well as pushing through some larger content writing projects that are past when I said they would be delivered.

    A1: Iceland Travel Site
    • I received a 2,000 word guide to camping from one of my writers. I chopped a whole section and performed a massive revision to get things to my liking, with the article maintaining the roughly 2,000 word count. It is targeting a 14,800MS term. I added a dozen relevant images, adding a category and some solid tags, and posted Monday late evening. Added to Twitter, Facebook, and two relevant subreddits Tuesday morning. Received over 1,200 visits in under 24 hours.
    • Checked on my keyword rankings and found that my most visited article with the highest rankings needed a bit of work and expansion, plus did not have a sidebar and the meta description was far too long. Fixed that article up and updated. It had been over a year since that article was published, after all. I also interlinked to some newer, relevant articles.
    • Submitted a request before bed on Tuesday to Fancy Hands, with a spreadsheet of data to grab images from Instagram for five upcoming posts. This is one of the most time-consuming aspects of posting to the site, so being able to outsource the downloading of images, plus using concatenate to create caption text with links, will save significant time in the long run, and keep these delays in posting from occurring. 24 hours later and the task hasn’t been picked up. If nothing by 48 hours, will be cause for concern.
I’m at the tail end of revisions to the 5k+ word guide, as well as a few more articles and a Hubspot form for V1 of the custom itinerary planner.

Growth of 30-day MAUs over 90-day span (dark blue line):

Interesting to see how, even though the site was getting a solid 100+ visitors a day for the first week and a half of February, how the MAUs decreased with no postings being done. Also good to see that traffic has almost tripled since starting this journey.

    A2: Other Travel Site
    • Had a pretty solid 2,024 word article targeting a few low X,XXXMS terms that had been sitting in drafts for a while. Went ahead and revised a bit, formatted properly, added links and a featured image, got it greenlit in Yoast, and published. I still need to add more images to the article and fix a few of the links, but I wanted to get the content live sooner rather than later.
B1: Tools/Outdoor Products Amazon Affiliate Site
    • I received a 2,400+ word “Top 10 of 2019” buyer’s guide from one of my writers. I got it formatted well, Yoast greenlit (but still needing some tweaks in the future to be up to my standards), and added in Amazon links for the products.
    • Grabbed the 900-word manual re-write of one of the product reviews I received from @hasan7707 and put it on a brand new Medium account, linking to the other review for the product on my main website.
    • Published several blog post style articles with multiple internal and external links, as well as a few Amazon affiliate links. Note that this site had no blog posts/article posts before these were published (all in the past few days). They were Yoasted to green levels, had relevant imagery both featured and in-post, and had headings and proper keywords set. Article lengths were: 1,282 words, 1,066 words, 863 words, 1,034 words, 1,619 words, and 1,094 words. Significant content additions thus far in February.
    • Obtained a review spot for the middle tier of @BassTrackerBoats Linkpushing network. This site currently has zero registered backlinks pointing to it (besides the Medium account above). Interested to see what a jolt like this can do for progress.
B4: Tools/Outdoor Products Amazon Affiliate Site
    • Grabbed a review copy of a PBN from @keywordspot, pointing five posts to the home page.
    C3: Local Direct Mail Project
    • Working with @GMB Experts on a non-specific address location for this project in Google My Business. The Local SEO project has a defunct UPS box as the GMB address, and the local roofing project uses my home address, so it would be nice to have something non-specific work properly. Excited to see results! Edit: he delivered in five minutes... what the!
    Instagram Growth Progression

    Stats from 2/1 to 2/12:

Up over 45,000 followers since New Year’s, over 1,000 average per day. Account 1, the Iceland one, crossed 50,000 followers a couple days ago. That’s a milestone for me, as I grew that account by hand for the first year of its life, and pushed it from zero to where it is now.

I color coded the accounts as such:
    • Yellow: I am happy with the progress being made, but would like to enhance some settings
    • Blue: Things could definitely be growing faster
    • Orange: I need to revisit the settings for F/U and engagement to see what can change
    • Green: I am perfectly fine with the progress being made
Going to leave the stat checking alone for a few days until the Instagram follower drop issue is resolved. I had several accounts lose between 200 and 1,400 followers. No bueno for a numbers-obsessed guy like myself.

    NSFW Website Projects
    • Received communication from the model herself that my active NSFW project is focused on. I am in talks to sell off the web property (a deindexed .net domain with a minor website built on it, getting an average of 250 or so visitors a day), as well as a 44k follower Twitter account and a few other smaller Web 2.0’s, for $1,500. For the time being, I've put this on hold until working that transaction out.
I'd like to get out of the NSFW arena completely, so this is a great step in liquidating.

    • Making notes and outlines for a BST idea. Been running things past a few knowledgeable current and former BHW members, formulating concepts and plans. Big things coming in the future. Lower priority than the above, though.
    • Starting to get together the sites and projects I plan to sell off. I’d like to make a “garage sale” style BST on here and just fire sale them off to get them off my plate and out of sight, out of mind.
    Non-Web Projects

With extensive help from my father-in-law (like he did most of the work), we have repainted the kitchen (ceiling too), built a gate for the side deck, replaced the attic air filter return with two 14x14 ceiling returns for easier access, pressure washed the rugs, and pressure washed the fences. Progress on four large projects mentioned in original post:
    1. Revamp of backyard: Going to grab some rubber mulch this weekend and spend some time weeding and replacing the mulch in the beds with this longer-lasting, slower to decay alternative. Planted a lemon tree in the back corner a few weeks ago. Would also like to start putting together a test garden bed to see the amount of hurricane wood needed.
    2. Replace all carpet with hardwood: Got the model information for the hardwood from a spare box that was in the shed from construction. Looks like it is around $2.50 a square foot. We will be looking at around $750 to $1,000 to replace all three bedrooms, plus the costs for getting high-quality rugs.
    3. Revamp the guest room into a gym/guest room combo: Still scoping.
    4. Fencing: Got the fence pressure washed. This week is Thompson’s Water Seal, then on to the next steps.
    Financial Notes for the Week
    • Market has been doing pretty solid so far this year. Big three investment accounts (Vanguard VTSAX, Fidelity VINIX, Robinhood individual stocks) are up $1,401.32 in February as of the 12th, and $6,851.61 year to date.
    • I don’t think my financial summary is going to be ready for the 15th, so that will be pushed a couple days. Truing everything up is taking a bit longer than anticipated. Each month for two years has been in the green overall with revenue minus expenses, so getting this done is a lower priority than getting all of 2018 finalized for taxes.
    • Got my Costco membership credit card reward check for the year via email: $400. Not bad, since most of the credit card utilization in 2018 went to the Hilton and Delta American Express for travel point churning purposes.

    Health Notes for the Week

Meh. Went off the rails as anticipated. Still at ten pounds down YTD, which is cool with me. If I can drop 10 pounds every 45 days, I’ll be at my goal by mid-year. Back on the IF + keto train. Have 30 ounces of sirloin waiting for me tomorrow for dinner.
    • Average weight YTD: 223.85lbs
    • Average step count YTD: 14,491

    General Updates

Completely revamped my morning routine after experiencing productivity fatigue. On day three as of today and things are working wonderfully. See my new morning routine in detail here. Did plenty and the sites are growing, but it’s never as much as I want to do.

    Focuses for Next Week
    • Complete and post two articles to Iceland site. Also complete and post Hubspot form and start promoting that service.
    • Add more articles to the B sites (all that I currently have completed and waiting as drafts, there are at least a couple for each). Also get the GeneratePress theme set up on B1 and B4, and get proper templating up for those two and B5 and B6.
    • Get a payment platform set up for the local photography site, and get the links properly set.
    • Do some more work on the A2 travel site, including configuration and such.
    • Get some work done on the C sites. Even if it’s just site updates, I want to touch each of them by this time next week
    A1: Iceland Travel Site
    • Purchased a 4-letter .to domain for short linking and tracking purposes. Next week I will get it set up and start incorporating on affiliate links present on site to give them less of a clear affiliate view, and to provide some great tracking opportunities.
    • Had the FancyHands order for image grabbing completed after several days of waiting (was not thrilled with this). Goal was to have a post up Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and one queued up for Friday to make up for lost time. Got the images downloaded and properly sorted and concatenated, then added to the site.
    • Refined and formatted, Yoasted and imaged up a SOLID 2,650 word writeup on drones in the area. Targeting a 720 MS search term, so shouldn’t be too difficult to capitalize. Published, added to Twitter and Facebook and two relevant subreddits, and gave myself Reddit Silver on a different account to provide “authority”. Published to two more subreddits the next morning (Tuesday).
    • Refined and formatted, Yoasted and imaged up another awesome 1,500+ word writeup on a particular waterfall targeting a 3,800 MS search term. This was Tuesday evening. Published, added to Twitter and Facebook and four relevant subreddits stretched across two accounts posting to two places.
    • Currently have a half dozen articles up as drafts. Five of them have the images needed now thanks to the FancyHands assistant. I just need to format and revise the post and add the images in. I’d like to do two next week if at all possible.
    • Working on a form via Hubspot for handling V1 of the custom itinerary building service. I am pricing it at $97, and would like to develop a sample one that I can use as a template as well. More to come on that in the next few weeks. I want it up and running mid-March.
Growth of 30-day MAUs over 90-day span (dark blue line):

Note the massive spike in the past couple days. I attribute this mainly to posting two articles back to back and promoting both on multiple relevant subreddits. Today has been my first day over 1,000 UVs. Curious if that translates into anything.

B1: Tools/Outdoor Products Amazon Affiliate Site
    • Added two solid articles to the site's blog. They were Yoasted to green levels, had relevant imagery both featured and in-post, and had headings and proper keywords set. Article lengths were: 800 words and 2,508 words (a solid buyer’s guide for a 1,000 MS term)
B2: Tools/Outdoor Products Amazon Affiliate Site
    • I didn’t lay low this week on this site. This is my most “successful” of the seven B-class affiliate sites currently, and the one that ranks for the most keywords and has the highest amount of traffic. I received several reviews from @JamesBlake, and several from my local writers. They were Yoasted to green levels, had relevant imagery both featured and in-post, and had headings and proper keywords set. Review lengths were: 1,002 words, 994 words, 1,001 words, 1,056 words, 1,009 words, 1,127 words, and 1,048 words.
    • I also added a 909-word blog post to the site. As always, they were Yoasted to green levels, had relevant imagery both featured and in-post, and had headings and proper keywords set.
    • I was offered a review copy of another service being offered by @keywordspot and utilized this site as the focus, targeting the "best [PRODUCT]" term. In addition, I am pushing a new service of @Finn's to this site's home page as well, with three targeted terms all floating around 1,XXX MS.
    • Right before posting this, I received another three product reviews that will be going up next week. Once these are up, I plan on taking stock in what I have and what I need content-wise. The goal is to have at least an 800-word review for every product that is listed on any of the buyer’s guides on the site.
B4: Tools/Outdoor Products Amazon Affiliate Site
    • Received my PBN posts from @keywordspot. They were pretty solid placements with good metrics, and some are already pushing into Ahrefs. Interested to see if it helps at all. Need to work on adding more content to this site.
    C4: Local Breweries Project
    • One of my local writers provided me with a SOLID 2,000+ word write up on the history of local breweries in the area and why they are important to the culture of the city. I formatted it, added images, did some Yoasting, and popped it up on the Blog section of the minimal site.
    Instagram Growth Progression

    Stats from 2/1 to 2/20:

I color coded the accounts as such:
    • Yellow: I am happy with the progress being made, but would like to enhance some settings
    • Blue: Things could definitely be growing faster
    • Orange: I need to revisit the settings for F/U and engagement to see what can change
    • Green: I am perfectly fine with the progress being made
Something is up with a few of the accounts. The two that are blank are currently stuck in a phone verification without the option to change the phone number. That is not good, as the last phone verification was done with SMSPVA. Best case I can figure out something. Worst case I lose those two accounts. Luckily they were going to just be used to grow, test, and sell, and aren't connected to any of the above or below projects.

Additionally, one of the accounts that I bought from a BHW member and rebranded experienced two massive drops in followers over the past couple weeks. One was a drop of exactly 500, the other was exactly 300. I’m not going to assume that the followers were bought and not organic to try and inflate the numbers for a higher sale price, but I’m not going to rule that out, either. Will do more digging.

    Other Projects
    • Making notes and outlines for a BST idea. Been running things past a few knowledgeable current and former BHW members, formulating concepts and plans. Big things coming in the future. Lower priority than the above, though.
    • Starting to get together the sites and projects I plan to sell off. I’d like to make a “garage sale” style BST on here and just fire sale them off to get them off my plate and out of sight, out of mind.
    Non-Web Projects

Got about 25 bags of red rubber mulch to replace the wood mulch. If things go according to plan, I only have to do this once, and will save 8-10 hours of work three times a year. Will need another 50 or 60 bags or so to finish the job. Also going to grab some gravel and finish the front yard. My father in law and I also finished pressure washing and staining the fence, and trimmed up a palm tree that had been needing a trim since well before we moved in 18ish months ago.

So, progress on four large projects mentioned in original post:
    1. Revamp of backyard: Weeding and mulching, should have this done in the coming weeks. Also going to get one of the gutters redirected to the front yard (underground) from the back to stop water from flooding the backyard when it rains.
    2. Replace all carpet with hardwood: Nothing done this week.
    3. Revamp the guest room into a gym/guest room combo: Still scoping.
    4. Fencing: Water seal done. Scoping additional fencing and the layout we are wanting.
    Financial Notes for the Week
    • Still not done with the financial summary for January.
    • Big three investment accounts (Fidelity (VINIX), Vanguard (VTSAX), Robinhood (AAPL, AMZN, V, AMT, MSFT, BRK.B) are up $7,556.50 YTD and $2,106.21 for February MTD. Still down 7.46% in Robinhood over the full past 365 days, but that beats the 28.04% I was down Christmas day. Quite an increase in the first 50 days of the year for sure, over $150 per day. Again, I’m not naive, I know that is not sustainable.

Average step count YTD: 14,824 (+333 from last week)

instead of doing all these many mediocre stuffs why dont you try to put efforts into building something which touches many lives and money is just consequence of that you know that. i think you can come up with something like that.

i dont really think after 10 years you will look into this and feel great about it what you are trying to do here if it is to prove something to us then pls stop it, there is no focus into one proper damn thing here. its all mixed. if its just for those $$s i think you have all the $$s you "need" to lead your life well so try to do something of significance.
