    Hi there,

I started a Facebook page, 'Sheer Football', which discusses "soccer". It has just over 11,000 likes and new content is posted frequently. Some friends and I had plans to start a website with articles and news updates. We had it up and running but, as none of us had a substantial amount of knowledge in SEO and website monetisation, we were making peanuts and - predictably - my partners lost interest.

However, I do still believe there is potential in developing a website and continuing the Facebook page. Would any of you have suggestions on monetising and promoting the Facebook page and a website? I reckon monetisation could be quite lucrative if we focused on using bookmakers as affiliates.

    Thanks in advance :)

Fantastic. Thanks for your help 1337python. You wouldn't happen to know any people who would be helpful in terms of SEO or who I can hire to help me monetise, would you?

Note: replying on the thread because I can't PM you (not enough posts)

    Hey man,

Sounds great but unfortunately I'm not the sole owner of the website and already have partners with differing stakes in the business. They've all contributed varying amounts of money to the project so - as much as I would like to - I cannot make you my partner. However, I would be very interested in exploiting your SEO expertise and suggestions you might have for monetisation and generally making this venture profitable.

I reckon we'd be more than happy to pay you 100% of revenue we initially earn. Or we might be able to pay you cash. Depends on my partners really.

Are you still interested or have I put you off? :)

    Alex

You could add tipsters affiliates as well as the bookmaker ones!

are your likes real or you just bought them?
if you can monetize with 11k likes than something is not right.

They're genuine likes. I'm not expecting to make a fortune at this stage but I just want to know that in the future there is potential to create a decent income.
