Are a bunch of shared proxies good enough for checking SERP and maybe checking for 404 errors.

My private proxies (tunnel proxy) get blocked by Google even with a 75 second wait time between uses.
I use 15 of them on Traffic Travis and they are blocked on slow machine settings 4-6 jobs at a time, with a 75 second wait time.

    Does that sound right?

What do I need to do to get proxies that work?

Shared proxies will get blocked faster if multiple users are using them with Google at the same time. I think it really depends on the number of queries per 15 minutes. a 1.5 minute wait time would only just be enough. No idea what traffic travis's block times are like.

Bottom line is that dedicated proxies will always give better results, but you could get lucky with shared proxies and get a set that no one else is using for the same purpose.
