Can you be happy in life after getting married or not? Please share your experiences. I am currently unmarried so I would like to know your experiences.

no answer will be conclusive because each relationship's happiness is unique and comes from the chemistry between partners.

But if you're happy alone don't think about marriage, happiness and fulfillment of the individual is more important than societal constrains...

Not that this is the place for expert advice on this, but make sure to have fun and do everything you want to before marriage or you will wonder what it would have been like, and that could cause issues for both of you. You trade one happy for another happy, be thankful for what you got either way!

A friend of mine spent all of last year complaining about being lonely and wishing for a wife. Fast forward to now, and the same friend is complaining about missing the good old days when he was single, free and doing things on his own.

Moral of the story: we always find something to complain about, no matter the situation.

Emotion is important, if you are happy and contented, be single until you get old and .... Agree on this, but I dont wanna die i also learn to be happy in my new path of life. I respect this opinion since I've been alone during my young phase, happy and contented.

Dang, how is he noooow?! Still complaining?

Im single and I love it, although I have a cat so that helps. lol I can love something, get love back, and it only costs me cat food, and a daily shit pickup.

I couldn't be bothered with having a woman in my home. If she wasn't working and watching TV I would be complaining to her, lol. If she wanted kids she would get kicked out! lol Better just stay single, no woman would put up with me! lol

Having a wife/girlfriend is not gonna solve all of your problems. You should become happy on your own without anyone, and the wife/girlfriend would just be the cherry on top. It may be hard to hear this, but you should be fine with her or without her, as your life was already good before you met her.

Its a mixture feeling. No contract changes in your life before and after marriage.

In marriage, you are bound to take decisions alone, you are into sheet commitments but that wont bother you in anyway, you become more responsible in a happy way. If your marriage doesnt get any spicy, plan for a kid, it will give you reasons to happiness.

Of course you can be happy after getting married. You just need to be mentally and financially (to certain extent since responsibilities increases) fit. You both need to understand since you both are committed to each other, you guys need to love, respect and care for each other more than anyone (except your parents).

Married Life
  • Brings commitments and bonding through deep emotions.
  • Teaches you to navigate fights and disagreements.
  • Learning to give in and compromise.
  • Prepares you to apologize when needed and stay calm in any situation.
  • Comes with a mix of love, challenges, and shared experiences.
Unmarried Life
  • Offers freedom to travel and explore with friends.
  • Provides independence and control over finances.
  • Allows you to enjoy life with your own choices in food, vehicles (cars and bikes), and more.
  • Embraces the joy of solitude and personal space.
Both stages of life have their own beauty and challenges, but ultimately, it's up to you to decide. At the end of the day, we all need someone by our side.

*Pros of Marriage

Social Recognition

*Cons of Marriage

Loss of Independence.

Differences in values, goals, or habits may lead to conflicts.

Societal, familial, or partner expectations may add stress.

Miscommunication or unresolved issues can lead to loneliness or dissatisfaction.

It's so subjective I'm not sure answers from strangers from different cultures all over the world could really mean anything.

Anyway, my point of view is that if you feel like getting married, get married. If it doesn't work, get divorced. To me, weddings are a party that's unreasonably expensive, so kind of pointless for my own taste. Honeymoons sound much better.

Yeah, happily married. Don't get married to some girl that's going to ruin your life and you'll be good. Make a true friend and be in a true union with one another.

Very true . That is human nature. Very few people are able to change that thinking pattern. Success in life also comes when someone has more positive outlook.
