    Hello,

I need your guys help again. I'm a publisher on AdWorkMedia since yesterday and I already checked out the setup of the content locker.
It doesn't seem difficult, still I have a few questions.

    1) What should the content locker look like? User clicks on the link he sees on YT, should the content locker directly open or should he see a anding page first and THEN when he clicks on 'Download now' the content locker appears?

    2) How can I implement the code on my website? Just create a new folder in FileZilla (let's call it eBook-Cars) and then just put the code of AdWorkMedia as the index.html file, nothing else?

    3) How can I choose what's shown in the background (behind the 'Please complete an offer to see the content' box)? At the moment I just see the standard 'Mighy widget' background when I click on preview.

    4) Is there geotargeting? Meaning that basically users from all over the world can complete an offer to see the content? Meaning I could make money from any country?

    Thanks so much!

    1) most people have a landing page. thats where you would make your sell to make them want to fill out the survey.

    2) the instructions to set up are on the same page where the code is. i use worpdress and just use their plug in to insert the code.

    3) if you're using their CL the there a limited amount of things you can customize, I tried a customized locker from CLP and adworkmedias CL and its worked about the same, same amount of convertions.

    4) yes

    1. Yes. it's the best way to lock the content.
    2. They give you the javascript, you put it before </head> tag
    3. In settings.
    4. Yes, they have it.

    Thanks!

One more thing.. do you just use landing pages or do you create a landing page on a blog for example?

Example: You're promoting an ebook for cars.
Do you just create a single landing page or do you have a whole website/blog about it and one of the pages is the landing page to download the ebook? I thought it might be more trustable for users when they see a whole website/blog.

You can actually do either of those. For me just a single landing page works best for my niche. However for other niches it would be better to have a whole site.

    1) the content locker is basically a pop up which comes up either upon the user visiting the site or on-click. The code that Adwork Media offers, by default, makes the content locker automatically pop-up upon visiting the page. This can easily be altered to show on-click of a certain button by doing it yourself (assuming you have basic knowledge in web coding) or you can get the Adwork Media support team to teach you how. (they can do it for you as well, just provide them your .html file or FTP details).

In the common Youtube promotion, publishers place a short link (such as bit.ly which shortens the landing page url) in the description and users who click it get redirected to the landing page where the option of the content locker can pop up automatically or on-click.

    2) You can find how to implement a content locker by placing a few lines of code in the between the <header> </header> tags and a bit of code edit for the content locker to show "on-click" of a button, rather than automatically popping up. If you have troubles, the Adwork Media support managers are absolutely amazing! try them out haha!

    3) You can change the theme in the advanced settings I believe

    4) I am unsure, their support team can help you out with that. However, I am aware that they have offers for the majority of countries :)
