Okay, I know there are a lot of these types of threads floating around but none that quite answer my questions. I already do business on the internet, right from my laptop and wherever I am at the current time. My question is this: Should I file a LLC in my state of residency or should I file in some other state....say Deleware, and then file as a foreign LLC in my state? Would I be paying taxes in two states or only one? And is there a way to file a LLC in Deleware online in a day? I could do it myself, just need to know how...you know some states have where you can file everything directly online with their corporations division. And the other thing, I want to open a business account. My credit is a bit screwed (prior bankruptcy and chex systems crap got me too) so how do I get around that? If you've got advice on where I could get a personal checking account then I'd love that too. And please don't tell me to Google "non chex systems banks." I've done that already and come up with nothing. I want a real bank account like what you have at BoA or WaMu. Like, all you B'Hers, do you guys do the real bank accounts or just the debit cards and head to the ATMs and cashout? Getting a little off-topic, I know, but I've got a lot of questions. You guys seem to know a lot more than I do (still learning) so I want to know the best way to do things. I'm not so much worried about taxes...yea, I've got to pay them. I'm an American and there's no getting around that. So, I just need to keep my name off the books and have it covered by my business. Anything that I can do in a day or two is great. Thanks!
