    Hey guys

    so theoretically, I want to know if this is possible before deeply researching this, would it be possible to write perl or php scripts to be run via cron job and have it uploaded on a shared host or server for youtube view botting?

    This does not seem possible, as I do not think that php along can boost the views without some sort of client-browser interaction;

    your thoughts?

    If you know how the view exploit works than you can do it. PHP supports sockets and even libcurl. PHP doesn't support threads but you can run the same script many times at the same time. I make all my youtube bots in PHP (the scripts are executed via command line, not by a web server).

    can you tell me more about what libcurl options u are using; I am able to view the videos via my browser, but its not increasing the view count for veoh; even after directly referencing the swf file with fake http headers

    No, i run the PHP scripts on my own computer (through command line)...although i used to use a VPS so yes you can run it in a remote host if it has CLI php.

    My bots arn't for view botting. They're for comment spamming, account creating, video uploading, favouriting, etc so I don't really know how to fake views. I'm guessing simply downloading the SWF file isn't enough.

    i able to view youtube video with perl scripts and it also works with proxies (need huge working proxies to get more views). Now i am using public proxies so it only can bring about 10-20 views per day

    kmzlink, can you tell me what url you are using, right now I have tried
    http://veoh/watch/(ID)* & http://content.veoh.com/flash/(ID)* and both are not working,

    as veoh is not upping the views; my thinking is if it works for youtube it must work for veoh because veoh has the least restrictions on increasing views; (it increases whenever the video player loads)

    I don't have CLI php but I do have cron job for my remote hosts; however I have an unlimited source of remote hosts avai. (work for hosting company); and thus don't need the multithreading as much

    Actually, PHP5+ does support threads if its compiled in and only works in CLI mode. ;)
