Anybody know of a decent SERP monitoring tool?

I am using SerpBuddy right now but they are inaccurate. My site is ranked 1 for many keywords as confirmed by multiple serps checkers and SerpBuddy doesn't rank at all for these keywords.

serpbook.com - the owner is here on bhw...do a quick search and you will find it on here (discount code also) - checks google, yahoo and bing. Great tool!

This question gets asked about once a week. You can find a lot of opinions using the forum search function or doing a Google search of the site.

The problem with SEOMOZ's rank tracker is that it uses Google's API so the results it reports are completely wrong.

You can use Google ad preview tool for searching exact position in search engine. I have tried I.B.P for checking keyword position. It is paid and also good tool.

Without spending mega bucks, you have the option between Traffic Travis or Rank Tracker i the UK. SEScout and SERPFox aren't accurate and SERPBook is so buggy it is virtually unusable.

Traffic Travis is Table based so it isn't ideal but it is accurate. Rank Tracker is graphical and pretty good but you will need to use UK proxies otherwise it will block you from Google for a few hours if you update too many keywords at the same time. Turning on captures helps to prevent this too

Is anyone else having problems with this software currently? For me it works fine for Bing and Yahoo, but for searching google it just stalls at the first page. I've filled it with 20 private proxies for rotation, but it doesn't seem to help.

This sounds to me like Google is blocking the IP of the proxies you are using. I would check the IPs are actually working. Bing and Yahoo are less sensitive hence why it is working for them

Thanks to everyone who responded. I settled on Serpbook and after a day of use it seems much better than Serpbuddy.
