My site used to rank #1 for Google Canada UK and USA, but recently, my ranking in UK disappeared, and in Canada I became #16.

In the USA (google.com) I am still #1. What could be the reason for lost rankings in Canada and UK?

All I remember changing is adding Adsense on my site, and updating my wordpress theme, seo plugin, but I do not think this is the cause.

    Thanks in advance...

Please find out what kind of new technique you have applied. and I think its due to the less number of keywords that you are working with. increase the number of keywords and optimize them.

Thanks, but I did not apply new technique.

Only changes: update wordpress theme, update wordpress Yoast SEO, put adsense.

The site still ranks #1 in google.com, just not in .com.au, .ca, .co.uk

Also I noticed that the google auto suggest options have changed for the google country i was outranked in. Maybe that has something to do...

What could be the reason? and is it temporary?

Clear out your cache/cookies and make sure your not logged into Google. Do you see the same results with different browsers, eg FFox, Ie, Chrome?

We have quite a lot of UK sites and over the past few days there have been some massive changes to some of the keywords we rank top for. Most of the worrying changes were visible when checking the serps on mobile devices. Some of it has started to settle back down to normal again but not quite like it was.

Thanks for the advice, still no rankings though.

One thing I noticed is that the suggestions for search changed only in Google Canada and UK, not in USA. Maybe that caused me to disappear.

Should I try to revert back to the older version of my theme and downgrade my SEO plugin (Yoast)?

Unless your niche is something that specifically targets those two countries, I would say that you're lucky it was them rather than the US. American Google probably brings in more traffic than those two combined.

From my experience, .ca and .co.uk try to rank sites based on local factors. For example, if you have a .ac domain, it tends to do quite well on google.ca and not quite as well on the .com version.
