    I'm talking about millions here.

Making millions on IM is entirely possible. It can happen unbelievably fast actually, of course you will have to be either really, REALLY lucky, very well budgeted or be the first in something big that's about to happen. (more options ofc.)

My dream is to become a millionaire. And I really want it... ever since I was little. I'm currently 24, and I've made more money than most folks in my country make in their entire life. Yet, I've never even got 1 moment to see my bank account at 6 figures. (Kids, when you get rich at your 18s, start saving for f@&k sake, you'll have plenty of time to spend later on!) My current income is lower than what it used to be a few years back, but heck I'm currently working for something legitimate, and long term.

No need to say that, but most of the $100/day methods here will help you live comfortably, but they won't make you a millionaire. Even if you scale it really big. There are exceptions, of course.

So, those of you who want to make it to the next level do you have a plan? A specific goal?

I'm currently building my own business. I already have an office, and 1 employee. My niche is really big, and my believe is that if you order the chaos in your business, build systems that employees can follow, make smart decisions, and work really really hard, you can get past the million mark. If you manage to do that, and you managed to have enough money by that time, it's all about scaling.

Of course there is a lot more to it, but at the basic level there is the ABC which you should be following.

P.S. This thread is entirely about business, and business mindset in general. Legitimate business, and planning.

When i started(10+ years ago) my goal was about $1200/month funny thing was that i never reached that exact ammount i moved from $300-$500 a month to $15000 -$30000.What i learned from this experience is that money is not as important as everyone thinks and setting goals like i want to be a millionaire in a few years is stupid (trust me i did that). Want to achieve real happiness? Find something you enjoy and do it everyday (for me it was IM) spend time with your family and friends,be kind to your parents and enjoy the simple things in life.Stop setting absurd goals do what you love and the money will come.

To become a millionaire from IM nowadays - you must love IM, and find real pleasure in your work. That's implied. If someone isn't feeling that way, they should count on being very lucky to hit the 7 figures.

I know there are people like me, who find real happiness in becoming better, and better at what they are doing, and building something from the ground. Providing a real value, and making a difference.

Setting up goals isn't stupid. Neither is having big dreams. It helps you keep going forward even in times where you feel comfortable enough.

Money isn't as important as everyone thinks it is - I agree. For me - it's doing things professionally, and becoming better. How do I know I'm becoming better? - Tracking my results.

At the end of the day, in the business field money is what matter the most.

As someone who reached your goal let me give you a few tips.Setting goals is important.. setting money goals is stupid.Doing something professionally and becoming better and better in it has nothing to do with becoming a millionaire. My father is a retired MD probably one of the best in his field if i may say so but he never made more than $600 a month still he was happy with the work he did and the lives he saved.

Point is if your goal is to make millions from IM you WILL FAIL. If your goal is to become one of the best in your field well then who knows...

Who doesnt but how much can you really spend ? How much do you need to be really happy? Can you drink more than a bottle of fine scotch a day ? Can you eat more than 3 perfectly cooked stakes? How many fine cars do you need? And if your life is measured in the things you own oh boy then you are really setting up yourself for a huge dissapoitment down the road...

Stop preaching your "money is not important" bullshit...it makes you sound like a typical poor person to me. Yes, family is important, so is creating wealth.

Money is the power metric of our century and if you wan't to be powerful and impact thousands of lives around you need to have lots of it.

OP, work smart, don't lose your optimism and you'll get there.

The thread isn't about me or my dreams. Was just starting the discussion. However, thanks a lot! :)

@Haspel - Many people, including me, have monetary goals and desires. Care to explain how do you structure your goals and plans? I agree that your point is correct, but there is a difference from "I want to be a millionaire in 1 year" to "I want to be a millionaire, and I will work hard and smart to get there". I'm not giving you hard time, not at all. Quite the opposite - interested in hearing another point of view :)

I never thought you wore giving me hard time :) My point was simple dont set money goals in your biz otherwise you are setting yourself up for disappointment and thats never good. Focus on the actual business instead of the revenue it generates try to became the best in what you do and the money will come.Over the years i thought i had a few "million dollar" ideas but it turned out that i was wrong... i still make a few K a month from them though which i take as a postive.

I apologize if i moved the thread in a different direction OP that wasnt my intend but as someone who was once in your shoes i just wanted to point out that the proper mindset to reach a million is focusing on the actual biz and not the revenue it should generate.

Money is important, of course. It is essential. It is what allows us to afford a better life. But I agree with Haspel. Focus not on the money.

For me, the goal is to be free of my job, and become a millionaire in the long run. yes, not 50$/day or 100$/day...i want to live this life, own a yacht, travel everywhere & experience it all. Why? Because all of those forbes 500 don't have anything better than me. i have the same brain, i'm fast, adaptable and goal driven. So for me, this dream should become a reality in my upcoming years! fingers crossed.

Ah slumdog. People are saying that money doesn't bring happiness that is true. But take at the other side. If you are poor and stay in one place. Your perspective is just to be reach and live in your life.

Totally agree! if we make the money goals, what will happen if we fail? instead of, do what we love should be the goals.
