Let's say you are selling toothpaste.
But for some odd reason you want to rank high for 'pen' & 'pencil'

Since the two don't have any relation to each other, how do you do it?

    Buy clicks?

What if you do it, after a while, is it possible to remove the clicks and just use google and write 'pen' and my site will appear? EVEN THOUGH... 'pen' isn't even mentioned once on the site?

just get backlinks with the anchor text as pen or pencil and you will get the serp 1.You need not have the keywords in your site at all.

    PROOF:

Google "who is failure" and see who ranks second [whitehouse.gov].See if the phrase "who is failure" is available in whitehouse.gov site.NOPE !
Note:Google might have removed that SERP by the time you have checked [since it is a google bomb].so see it soon.
