Hi
I am interested in trying to promote various niches I have websites through forums that I have the same or similar domains for on the web.

i.e These are examples and not the real domains and are about Polecat Hire - Main sites 'polecathire.com' polecatrental.com' - 'Forums' or 'User Sites - Review Sites' 'Whichpolecathire.com' - 'whatpolecathire.com' - 'polecathirereview' - 'thepolecathireforum.com'

What I intend to do with these is to start a Forum / User Site to discuss and rate Polecat hire its merit and uses, self generate all the content as bogus members and reply's to questions comments and reviews. Possibly start a reviews merit system and award company's in a spate section or indeed a complete review site or both with a scalable system showing the most popular sites. Now to start off these would all have to be self written but hopefully they could generate there own content in time which I would police.
Obviously these would all be heavily pointing to my business sites with links in the text and adds in the banners .
This would be one part of my SEO attack but what are your thoughts and comments Also I am looking for a good Forum software to use a its basis can anyone suggest one please either free or paid for.
Any comments welcome.

Well, Vbulletin is always the best forum software, but it is a little expensive. I think your technique will work, but is it worth the time? Maybe build something a little more versatile? Like if you're building say "donkey kong". Maybe build forums/reviews for arcade games or vintage games? This would give you the ability to continue promoting "donkey kong", but it would also give you the capability to draw in people who are interested in other types of games.

Hope you understand what I am saying :)
