SEO Salary Report 2021: How Much SEO Pros Get Paid

Someone who knows what they are doing with SEO, can easily score a job making $100K+ per year.

An *SEO Pro* shouldn't be making any less than $10k a month so let it be $100k a year at least,
Other than that, it shouldn't be called a pro

Bruce Power - floor sweepers start at $40/hr. Heaven forbid if you do a year of schooling and get double that.

Or go out west in Canada. Those idiots make $75/hr doing nothing but drive around in a truck and sleep on the job. Free housing and everything. I know because my friends do it.
Apparently better off heading to canada and sweeping floors!

USA/UK/AU/NZ is all the same. Very very hard to find people who want to labour.

Then you have EU (Esp Sweden) where it doesn't matter how much you make coz you're taxed to death.

"
On the other side, just over 20% earn less than $35,000 a year, which is way below the U.S. median.

However, we need to consider that our data includes respondents from India and other lower-income countries. Some of the lower-earning respondents may be from developing countries."

They should have separated by country

probably if you are really SEO pro - you will make much more doing own SEO projects
That's what I'm thinking too. A lot of SEO professionals either have their own agencies and/or their own projects. The report mentions salaries, so it's most likely that they have asked for the actual salary they get in a company.

This too!

Earning $35k in California and $35k in India are two totally different stories.
