the kw results are kw: allintitle

    here is the competition analysis:

    here is what i did:
50 angela links directly to site.
150 angela links to hubs of linkwheel.
    1 direct linkwheel
    1 2nd tier linkwheel(for first linkwheel)
350 live forum profiles using xrumer.
    20 live comments.

    Site details:
    Adsense site
    5 pages in total.
about 50% of my links have my main keyword as anchor text and other 50% are rotated between 5 anchor texts, with some of them like click here and so, to appear natural.

the domain is 2 months old and these links have been build over 2 months.
i have asked a couple of people regarding this and they say i should have been ranked by now.
total no of indexed backlinks till now: 233

but i am nowhere in the top 300.

    i am currently quite frustrated.

    where am i going wrong?

last google PR update was December 31...

Thats when google shows all the backlinks and start giving rankings to your site.

So have patience wait for the next update which should be in a month or so.

I think it's every 3-4 months they update. Sad but true, google is becoming annoying.

I just finished doing lots of new sites last week all with unique content, backlinks and stuff. But Mr. Google requires me to wait for their stupid PR update to rank me.
    Thats' gay. LOL

Anyway have patience and work on other stuff or get more links or content.

Google's pagerank update has nothing to do with rankings. Rankings are constantly occurring and are not dependent upon what the Google toolbar currently displays for your pagerank. Pagerank is constantly being updated as its dynamic, the pagerank that we all see is updated once every 3 months.

Also, my only advice is to continue linkbuilding while diversifying what your doing. Rankings WILL take time, just because you did those three things you won't magically appear.

What is strange though is that you aren't in the top 300, how is your on-page optimization?

    on page optimization is ok.
proper kws and meta tags and every thing.
also each property of the linkwheel is blasted by xrumer.

Well if your on-page seo optimization is good/fine, and if your backlinks are indexed and found by google, then the answer is you need more links. Also if you are targeting a specific keyword then you should put that keyword in the anchor text of those links.

So how long does it take for google to actually start ranking a new site.
    Let me take an example....

-I got a new domain 3 weeks old.
-Domain has all keywords for the keyphrase I want to rank for in the right order.
-Site has optimized content and sitemap etc.
-Site has 1,200+ backlinks allready and all links are using anchored keyphrase to link to the domain.

What I want to rank for isn't competitive at all, the top 10 suck. ;)

And it's not 1 site over 5 new sites all with new domains, some have more/less backlinks but all have unique content.

So what's the problem do I wait for 2-3 months before ever seeing a ranking?

I've started ranking in yahoo which sucks at traffic.
But how long does it take before I rank on google?

why don't you check out the first 5 competitors in your search terms
see how many backlinks they have
    what anchor text
    what quality are their backlinks.

and are your linkwheel, angela and etc indexed?

it is quite true that google is being stalled.
    there is not much movement.

are they changing their algorithms again?

Secret, that's nothing bro. This is IM, this is why some people fail and some succeed. It's all about how bad you really want it. Don't give up keep going. I did 100x more SEO to finally see results. And once I did, I make hundreds a day. Was it worth it? Hell yeah. ;)

I have been experiencing a similar situation with several of my new sites recently. Many of them are front page in Yahoo, one even 1st position and Google is ranking me at like 500+ for all of them.

I mean WTF. Im not worried because I know it will improve, its just annoying. Yahoo just seem to love me but the G man has no respect....

I think they have changed there algorithm just to make people wait...seriously. I don't even think its to do with domain age - I have had similar issues with Squidoo pages that are 5-6 months old.

It makes sense I guess...spammers tend to be first off the mark whereas quality content takes time to build so by slowing the process down overall its the spammers who lose the most. We could discuss all day thought and not work anything out. Whatever the fuck google is doing just keep doing your thing and im sure it will payoff eventully.

    I agree.

This is "odd", but not anything to freak out over.

Keep building links, try pinging some of your links to get the crawler over to them.

    It WILL get indexed.

    Oh and, Hey Jon!

Seems like big G thinks you're spamming. I believe its suggested that u slowly build your backlinks. Perhaps a network of backlinks. That might help. Remember, SEO isn't PPC. It's normally a slow process and requires patience.

Are you sure your on page seo is ok? maybe you have a very high keyword density... or maybe to many link with the same anchor.

Those would be my 2 first target to analize

I got my sites indexed very quickly onto Google using some tools I found on here. I increased my ranking by increase the keyword content on my site, and increased the PR via backlinking etc

Just a quick question. When you did all those links were you deep linking? or just linking it all to your main page? I did something similar but I did a lot of deep linking and I had great results.
