Good ! but let me tell you the real competition is the number of sites that come up in Google when you enter your keywords in quotes. So for the keyword "best audio books online download", the real competition is only 162 and not 2.320,000. Many SEOs do not tell this fact to the customers, but here we are all SEOs!

No my site was not that new about 6 months old I had it to page 4 and I could not seem to get it to climb higher so I contacted Gabs1981 and he said he could make it climb to page 1 Welll let me tell you he did climb it up all the way to page 15 I have sent him many emails about this with no responce So you can use him if you want but I will tell you send out BS to forums That is not what you need to do. He probably used Pr storm on it or some crap like that not sure but I have all the records and for the money I paid I sure did not want this to go backwards. All he had to do was to answer my emails. What a Joke!!!!!!!!!!!

As sikander point out, sorry, but this is nothing to brag about. For example, "downloadable audio book" has only 63,700 direct competitors. You've managed to get ranked 66th, which basically gives you no traffic since 90% of people don't even make it past the first page, much less to the 7th page where you are. It's fairly easy to get a wordpress blog ranked to the first page for any keyword with less than 100k competitors, I do it all the time and it takes about a week max. You can make money easy doing this for people, but you shouldn't be offering your services to people on bhw if that's the type of results you're getting.

I swear I've seen this image in another thread somewhere, previously lol. As for your rankings, if the domain and the site is brand new - then even if the results are amazing that isn't guaranteed to last. It's natural to rise at the very beginning then fall as G evens it out. From what I've read and seen anyways...

gabs1981, there are 2 very important factors you have to abide with when working with clients:

    1) Answer Emails immediately (Not more than 8 hours)
    2) Always let your clients know what you did.

Clients have the right to know what tactics you followed to give them such results. Don't you think so?

Sorry to say it but the phrases you ranked for have almost 0 traffic.

Therefore its really not much of an achievment to rank for them.

I disagree with this though, as an SEO worker you are providing them with a service for a price. Not teaching them how to do it, that is worth FAR more.

If you tell people what you are doing whats to stop them from firing you and just doing it themselves?

Agreed, plus it takes a ridiculous amount of time to explain things. Give progress reports with visible benchmarks - things such as rankings for terms compared to previous ones, traffic/referrer data over time, etc.

Yup, absolutely no reason to let clients know what you're doing. If they don't like your results or methods, they can fire you, but don't need to disclose anything.

I have 100's of clients I am doing SEO for. I find it very important to educate your clients on how you have reached such results. If you are doing white hat, then you have nothing to worry about.

Why don't you think of it from another prospective. Put yourself in the client's shoe, you will definitely want to receive completion reports and understand what has been made for the $$$ you invested.

    Quality work is irreplaceable :)

Just an observation, my experience tells me the relationship between an SEO master and the client is based on trust and the perceived value of the rendered service. If the client expects to rank on the 1st page in the organic link section and actually stay there for more then twenty minutes - extended Blkhat techniques may cause harm to the client- if the client understands this- cool. But, if you use blkhat techniques to deliver this result and this is not related before hand -not cool-

I didnt say don't tell them what you do, I said don't tell them how you did it.

For example if im doing SEO on a website via high PR blog commenting, I will tell the client exactly how many backlinks I have generated for them, and even give them the URLs to check for themselves.

I won't tell them my system for finding large numbers of ********, unmoderated, high PR blogs to comment on.

I think the results are ok for 1 month. Nothing spectacular. Seems roughly similar to me with my sites google dancing.

Those aren't results... those are just where the pages land organically. Those are also long tail keywords... if you can't rank on page 1 for long tail then you are in serious trouble. I would expect 5-8 listings on page 1 for keywords like those.

I dont get it first this was done in a month then it was done in a week then you also posted all the clients info on here for him to come rip on your services. Not very smart and by the looks of the actual progress made it looks very below par. Just trying to be honest, plus seems op has disappeared since then so hes obviously ashamed of all his "progress" weather it be one week or one month. See I think WEB CEO is tops for helping tracking clients sites.
